This has by far been the worst banking experience one could go through. They make you feel like they’re doing you a favour by giving you your money. Kristian Di Giovanni should never be employed anywhere that requires customer interaction because he clearly suffers from lack of compassion and has never been taught how to speak to people. He must’ve been abused growing up to be projecting out this much anger and hate towards customers that are keeping him employed. Shame on NAB for lowering their standards to the point of hiring the likes of this immature person. Will definitely never return to this branch and I will definitely take this further.
I was bringing my father to add signing authority on his account. We have been told by the Teller to come in the following week, as a branch staff speaks Mandarin can be the translator. In the following week, when we attend the branch the staff advised the signing authority can not be given under their banking rules, and it is obviously inconsistent with our other existing accounts mandate we had. I questioned the branch staff, what if my father is going overseas, and how could he communicate directly with NAB? The staff told us it is not their problem if you don't speak English! What a rude answer! Waste our time!
Wed 25 May before 4pm, there was a yoing bloke at the counter and he was rude to the limit. Angrily screamed he cannot hear me with my mask on! However, tge lady at the next counter could hear me and told him what I qas up to. Gosh I was covering my mouth, not my ear. He was so rude that while processing my transaction had a poker face withoyt saying please. Then, just dropped my receipt at the counter. I asked if I had to sign but he just said nah all good mate with a look like to say go away. The eastland branch manager is a great friendly person. So it is a pity that training on friendly demeanour and good customer swrvice is not reaching all staff there.
Close this place and out these useless people out of a job. They don't do anything anyhow. They are as bad as the useless call centre people
I went in with $1690 dollars cash i gave it to the teller who broke many bank rules while handling, my money, then put it in the money counter it got "JAMMED"100 dollars went missing, and atleast 6 notes had chunks ripped out of them, when returned being mechanically minded and knowing how the machines work It was clear that the machine has a problem. I will be requesting the camera footage from the bank. I have my own footage of the teller breaking money handling rules and covid restrictions which I will be taking further due to the fact, I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism. Maree is her name, photos and videos to come if needed. We are in a pandemic Maree the teller saw everything she is a plain liar. Need proof ask. Never use nab at eastland.
Rude, unhelpful and bored staff. I have been met with terrible customer service on two separate occasions from this branch. This is part of the reason I'm moving banks, the other part is that I don't want to have my money invested in palm oil production and child labour!
Came here to open a savings account for my child as we already have one for our other child with NAB. Was told by the lazy staff member that is was too late and to come back the next day. Sorry NAB but you have lost our business altogether now. Try employing more helpful and less lazy staff in the future.
I was waiting in line for over 30 minutes to be served. By the time they reached me it was closing time and was told to come back another day. Really poor customer service. If I had entered 5 minutes before hand, I would have had no problem returning. But to wait half an hour and then be told to come back.. REALLY POOR SERVICE. I understand people want to go home, but turning someone away when they have been waiting that long... failure at customer service 101.
Agree with review from others. What they provide at this branch can hardly be called "service". Lack of knowledge by staff members at teller's / service desk. Very unhelpful and unprofessional. As they don't care, why do we bother banking with nab?
Had a great service from Trace who was very informative to my enquiries and professional.
