Horrendous support, really horrendous. The time I've wasted trying to solve a pretty basic issue is mind boggling. First MYOB go to every length imaginable to hide their phone number and funnel you into a useless AI chatbot. The answers it gave me were so unrelated to my query it would have been funny if I wasn't trying to solve an important bookkeeping issue that affects my business and livelihood. Then after searching for about half an hour I found a number. I had to go through multiple full account authentication procedures, only to end up talking to a bloke in the Philippines who clearly had very little experience. First of all he was unable to unable to use use the support software he needed to see what was going on, then when he finally did manage to get access, he spent 40 minutes only to tell me that I needed to go back to the beginning of my bank feed sync application and try again. Time to look at another book keeping solution. The most insulting thing is that they try to palm off their chat bot as a valid support solution. It's a joke!
If I could give NO stars I would. nSteer clear of this product and business. Once you have an issue there is no resolving without numerous follow up calls, emails and complaints, which all lead to A dead end. If you’re persistent you can resolve eventually- maybe. Meanwhile you are trying to manage a business and cashflow all of which is impacted long term when they have one of their frequent technicalnIssues. Imagine not knowing the status of your invoicing, bank feeds and cashflow and not being able yo get any help? Probably one of the worst customer service orientated business in this type of industry . Totally inferior to Xero.
The company I work for implemented MYOB for payroll 2 months ago, its been an absolute failure and we have now moved off it.nThe app is archaic and there is no web version to use. Time sheets diapear after they are aprpoved and you need to screen shot so you can keep the history. You can double book time on a day. etc etcnIts a great idea but really needs a lot of work on its functionality to improve it.
I am new to MYOB and my experience so far is very frustrating and disappointing. Today I spent an hour on the online help for a very simple question, i.e. in my first payroll why isn’t tax being calculated automatically? One hour on the phone with the online operator finally saying contact the ATO or your accountant. For goodness sake, it’s your software!
How does anyone call you? You have no phone number and no support online. I need a confirmation code urgently to use my software. You are holding my business to ransom.
