Awesome cafe with friendly service and quality food. Great to see a menu that's got something a little different to the normal everyday food. We had the Chilli Crab Scramble, that was really tasty and cooked perfectly. Plus had the Hash Benedict, the spiced potato hash was awesome, so tasty, plus local bacon was good, just the eggs a little over cooked. Coffee was great as well.
Clean, open, friendly cafe. The base menu with brekkie favourites is always available; they also are always offering specials of interesting food too! Had a great meal and coffee here, fun and the cafe is great. Dog friendly which I love. Look forward to going back.Food: 4/5
What a lovely fresh and open coffee shop! Tasty coffee and well made! A very yummy ham and cheese croissant- so there are some savoury options! We had a nice morning tea!
Good food, but small and bad social distancing The food here was actually really good, with plenty of vegan options and options for meat-eaters too. Coffee was also decent. Unfortunately, they do not allow bookings, it is walk in only. Extremely busy, and lots of small tables with little social distancing going on. They also do not cater well for nut allergies specifically though most other common dietary requirements had options. Photos feature Apple Crumble Porridge, Chilli Crab Scramble and Avo Great Day
Love coming to Mylk + ko for a coffee and scroll to take away or going in for brunch. Food is always great and service is quick. The menu often rotates with new seasonal things to try. One of my fave Brisbane brunch spots
A nice little cafe in New Farm with good coffee and food. The service was a bit questionable on my first dine-in experience - I waited ten minutes for a coffee and the barista raised their eye at me in disbelief when I politely popped up to the counter to see if it had been forgotten. I have returned multiple times since then and am happy to report that was an isolated incident. The menu is vast, the food tasty and the service wonderful.
Wow… what a lovely little find this cafe is. My daughter & I went for brunch yesterday. The menu is extensive and has many alternate options. People who have dietary requirements are definitely covered here. I had the hash bene- so good, that house made hash brown, kale & bacon with poached eggs is an amazing combo. My daughter had the popper waffle: bittersweet waffle with an amazing house made caramel, seasonal berries, strawberry meringue & a raspberry jam. Coffee was good also, unique smoothie options, nice staff. This will become a new regular for us
Service - 5/5 Coffee - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Smoothie bowl heaven !! Everything here is amazing. I love this place. I also love their Instagram and how engaging it is. Props to the owner
Came here late on Friday morning and felt we were lucky with our timing as the flow of people coming in was continuous and the place was packed by 10am. Food was hit and miss, my partner had the chilli crab scrambled eggs and was happy with his meal and found it to be very generous in portion size. Coffee was good. But I was pretty disappointed with my apple crumble porridge - it was cool by the time it reached the table with a couple of warmer mouthfuls, but for the whole - it was cool and not very enjoyable. I also felt in comparison to the eggs, it was a smaller meal and not worth $18.50. We also found staff to be very slow when ordering, and we had finished our bottle of table water early on, and my partners glass sat empty for 45 minutes and they never once offered to bring us more. Would have asked for more water, but it wasn’t the easiest task getting their attention to get a spoon for my porridge either, so service could definitely be improved here. It is a nice cafe though, and it was clearly very family friendly.
Went to try out @mylkko for the first time with Wifey . Have seen soo many yummy pics come up on my feed about this place, so we finally decided to pop in to visit. It’s a neat little cafe located just before the New Farm Park area and tables both inside and out . We ordered: • Chilli Crab Scramble with extra avo • Rainbow Bowl with Halloumi . Wifey’s Chilli scrambled came served on a very yummy, buttery & soft croissant. She enjoyed it a lot and the crab was a subtle flavour but could definitely taste it there . My Rainbow Bowl had a nice marinated eggplant, which I’m not usually a huge fan of but this one was done really well and tasted great. The curry hummus i think that’s what it was was nice for me but Wifey didn’t like the flavour lol . All in all a nice place that we’ll be back to try more of
