This place was amazing. Didn't expect it to be this good. The interior of the building was clean, designed well and looked pleasant. The servers were quick and helpful. They had a good menu with a lot of photos to show what each dish is. The food came out pretty quick and was delicious. We came here as a group and all ordered different items. To our surprise, all the plates that we got actually tasted really good. I got the Drunken Noodles which were great. Definitely would recommend going here. This is one of the best Thai places in Sacramento that we found so far so if you are ever in the Roseville area, you should definitely come and try this Thai kitchen.
This was the first time my husband and I have been here. And I can’t stress enough how we loved, LOVED everything we ate. We had the spring rolls and crab ragoon as appetizers and main dishes were the green curry lvl 2 spicy and shrimp Pad Thai. All were amazing. The staff was so prompt and polite as well! I will look forward to the next time we come to eat in the very near future! I give this 5 stars but I’m my stomach gives it a 6.
Went to have dinner last night for the first time, I was very impressed with the food, service, and cleanliness of the place. Our waitress was Veronica and she was amazing. Very friendly and very helpful. The food was very tasty and fresh. I would definitely come back to try different items.
We are vegetarians, Thai food lovers , so we frequently order dinner at My Thai kitchen .6 out the 10 times we have ordered , food was good and was prepared to our request. Lately quality of dishes have been really good too which is why we frequented the restaurant . But from tonight’s takeout order, 2 out of the 3 dishes were uneatable. The Pad Se Ew noodle had chicken instead of the tofu. For our family who has never tasted meat in our entire lives, tofu in the Pad Se Ew felt extra chewy than normal! I can’t explain how grossed out we were. The Red curry was ordered to be made for a level 3 spicy, but was extremely sweet, even sweeter than a desert. We have lost our appetite for takeout Thai food from My Thai Kitchen . Our advise to any Vegetarian or Vegans ordering from MTK is to please call and confirm if they have noted your order details right, after you submit the online order.
Such oily food with zero taste. What more can I say ! Dunno why they have some 4 and 5 star rating !!! Veg Rolls were horrible. Even the basil fried rice didn't taste good.
Great location but parking is a bit tight. All the food was on the sweeter side. Most of the food was really disappointing. The only good item was the salad that was provided by the house and the pork belly. Location and interior was clean. The service that was provided was mediocre. First time here but I definitely wouldn’t be coming back.
I wasn't able to dine in but I had takeout from this place and it was great! Online ordering was simple and it was alot of food for the price! I like the rice meals and I enjoyed the fact the stir fry came with rice and alot of it too! Thai restaurants around the area, that I've been too before, charge for rice which its crazy. Anyways, the food was delicious and full of flavor! Loved it!
We were in the area for our oldest daughter's VB tournament and decided to try this Thai restaurant based on the reviews cuz our middle daughter was craving Thai food, late lunch at 230pm. I had the red chicken curry my go to item at most Thai restaurants mild spicy. The chef/cook must have had a very bad morning or night before cuz my curry was super salty. Imagine really really salty popcorn or beer peanuts, then x3-5 extra salty. I had to pick out the chicken and veggies to eat with my scooped out rice from the middle of the curry, 1.5*. The saving grace were my daughters' 2 pad se ew, chicken and beef 3.5*. The chicken satays were decent, slightly on the dry side, 3*. The special blue rice, side item, was just rice cooked in coconut milk and appeared to be food coloring, 3.5*. Our dessert was the Mango sticky rice 4*, delicious and balanced sweetness, which presentation was similar to the menu picture. However, mango slices were either from very small mangos or they were able to sliced it small and half of the normal slices. Interestingly, the manager/owner?, was sitting in a booth chilling on her phone with her feet on the bench chair. It took between 20-30mins to get our food short staffed?. One of the waitresses nonchalantly brought us our check but didn't even ask us about our missing mango sticky rice, "did you order it?" Yes, it's on the receipt that you just handed to us without looking. Overall, Food, 3.5*; service 3*, atmosphere 3*.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They were hit with some big take out orders that put them behind. Before even seating us they informed us of the situation, advised it might be 30 minutes before we got food and asked if we were ok with that. After being immediately seated another staff person updated it to 20 minutes. We ordered and received food approximately 15 minutes later. I feel like that's the usual wait time in any restaurant but I really appreciate being informed and given the option to wait or go elsewhere. Kudos to My Thai Kitchen.
Their food is delicious, especially their pumpkin curry! Crispy egg rolls to start with and a sweet chili dipping sauce. Try the blue rice with your curry. It's very pretty and tastes great! We love this place! Vegetarian options: You can create your own wok as well as curry dish combinations, choosing which vegetable, spice or nut to add in the vegetarian dishes as well as the meat dishes. Parking: Restaurant nestled between a Japanese restaurant and a steak house in a large plaza with other restaurants. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant on ground floor and there's a slope for wheelchairs.
