I LOVED the shop, but as I was only visiting Newcastle, it would be nice to be able to purchase their spices online and have them posted. You can buy online, but have to pick them up yourself, which pretty much defeats the purpose of online shopping!  But if you want the most fabulous Satay you've EVER had, this is the place to go....the Malay Satay spice is just incredible!

Once again our home has the beautiful aroma from a freshly made curry for dinner. Thank you for the wonderful service we received today. Great selection of fresh herbs and spices. Very knowledgeable every time we have been in there. Great tips and recipes too. The shop is very clean and everything is laid out so that it is clearly visible and accessible. Love this place. This is a genuine gift to the Mall and to Newcastle foodies, and Chris is a gracious and knowledgeable proprietor. Fabulous selection of spices and nuts, and a great menu of international flavours for lunches. Highly recommended.

Pretty good little spice shop.  Good selection of dry chilies and some interesting items.  A lot of their own spice blends which were only ok-ish and very expensive - not really worth the cost.  That said I've been there several times and spend a good amount each time - just stick to whole spices.

What a great shop to visit and purchase all the magnificent herbs and spices.  The aroma in the shop is very enticing to get you in the mood to buy the many products that are available.  This is the best herb and spice shop in the business.

the most authentic curries and bunny chow in Newcastle that change batch regularly so always fresh, other highlights are the Haloumi fries with fruity relish and the keema is indulgent!

Terrific atmosphere, mountains of choice for anyone looking to spice up their meals, with friendly and well-informed staff to recommend uses for each and every blend and spice in store.

A fantastic find. Enjoyed the knowledgeable friendly service and definitely will be back.
