Great day out, we were there for nearly five hours and could have stayed longer. Must for entire family. Wheelchair friendly Lifts available. Great kiddies play area. We had an awesome day. Eatery on each floor just about. Great place. Attention to details and overall displays and interactive areas are brilliant. Highly recommend you visit and support.
Super interactive and fun museum both for adults and kids. Lots of interesting facts and info to learn about made in an easy to learn way.nnA lot of nature, history, heritage and values about what makes NZ of today and it’s a MUST-Go I think if you are in Wellington to get to know a bit about the country you are visiting.nnEntrance is free for the permanent exhibitions, and that took us a couple hours already which was more than enough to see.nOnly a certain special exhibitions are paid.
An absolute must stop off. We loved this museum! So much to see and do. The Gallipoli exhibition is breathtaking. It was emotional and had me emotional in a lot of areas. The workmanship that has gone into creating these larger than life models is insane. Do yourself a favour and take the time to view this.

Great place to explore and learn for people of all ages. Spare a few hours if you want to get through properly. Great to see the Gallipoli walk through still up, and the earthquake house is still there from when I was a young child. Neat!
