Absolutely disappointed in my meal I ordered this afternoon via Uber. Driver was quick and efficient. The food however I ordered the same meal I did tonight about 2 weeks ago and couldn't fault it, was beautiful. Tonight meal was not even what I ordered, was more like a tomato curry than a Madras and the rice was cold. Won't be ordering from here again.
The food here is exceptional, but unfortunately the service is quite slow. There were approximately five other tables of diners, but our starters took 20 minutes and then another 30 for our mains. It definitely won't put me off going - will just bring a bottle and enjoy a drink while we wait next time. The curries and naans are worth it! Vegetarian options: Loads of tasty daals and paneer options
Had a beautiful dinner here tonight. The garlic cheese naan was the best I’ve ever had. Our chicken mains were beautiful. The chicken was super tender and moist. The service was very polite and efficient. Would definitely go again. Thank you Mumbai Masala for a beautiful meal.
The worse butter chicken that I had in my life. I ordered 7:45pm I had the pick up confirmation at 8:15 and I was able to take my order 8:45 because they couldn’t find my order. Cheese Naan bread under cook and butter chicken watery.
Having dinner on Valentines Day without booking. The restaurant was full and busy. About one and half hour waiting… but still get delicious meals!
Was very happy with our experience! Ordered a butter chicken alright and a honey chicken Amazing. Although we found medium a little spicy, gave a unique aspect to our meals! In terms of service - it was good It was a little cramped in terms of what they give you, but it was nice and enjoyable overall!
Its an Indian restaurant with a gud variety in their menu cards. Its a better indian restaurant amongst the other Indian restaurants in Tauranga region. I had took a takeaway from it which included the Mix Platter mix of veg and non-veg starters along with Veg Biryani. For 12$ biryani the quantity was really awesome. Wud be trying their food again if I happen to visit Tauranga again.
Lamb Madras is grate authentic taste. Way better than Auckland
Great vegan / dairy free. My favorite is the dairy free vegetable korma and garlic dairy free roti - yum !
The taste is so authentic. We never had naan bread like this before in NZ. Our order took time even tho it wasn't busy. We realized the gravy was made from scratch so it took time. Customer service could be improved.
