i had been with multiple sollutions launceston for 18 months. i started in february trying to get work with children. i have just been exited from the program. i still have no job with children that im qualified in certificate lll in childrens services. i really enjoy most and love. it makes me happy seeing the children and helping out as a team of educators and doing things activities with children.it upsets me that i have got a job with children. i am happy with lunch time shifts i had told my employment consultant, 2 hours , 4 hours or 8 hours work. it would have been nice if someone would give me a go.i was told i had to have another option job because they couldnt get me work with children. it was retail. i dont have qualifications in. i had 2 employment consultants. the employment consultants were all leaving then a 3 employment consultant come. i thought i would get more help take me around with my resume to different childcare centres. they didnt take me because they wring up to find out what qualifications they want and if they want to give me a job. if they didnt say yes and the childcare centre said no to me they didnt want to set me up to fail. they did meet up with me to go to some retail book shops and pushed me to go to gazzmans and beacon to apply for job. i have general anxiety disorder. i had really bad anxiety. thats when the employment consultant wanted a report from my doctor and clinical psychologist because of the anxiety. in the end she found out from centrelink she didnt need a report. they said they would take me with my resume to treasure island airtime kmart and tailrace riverside but they didnt. they only helped with resume job application cover letter.i ended up not getting an job interview. i was asked and pushed into courses diploma and mor voluntary work. i am doing voluntary work with children already. iwas told i need to update most of the units certificate lll in childrens services close when i was bein exited from the program. i am not happy. i trusted them in getting me work with children. i have had problems with every employment centre i have gone with.
