The best Mexican food I have ever eaten! Mouth watering, authentic Mexican cuisine. I was with friends and our kids and we all enjoyed a wide variety of dishes. The service was fantastic even though the staff were run off their feet. The food came out so quickly and was absolutely delicious. A must try if you're a fan! Thank you to Kelly and Michael for the outstanding service and to the chefs for satisfying our hunger! Worth 10 stars but I can only give 5!
If you are around the Northern Beaches you need to try this place. I recommend the Tropical Thunder. It is so refreshing to eat with the mix of pineapple, slaw and guac.
This Mexican kitchen is an excellent place to enjoy a meal right after swimming in the curl curl beaches. The food here is delicious which brings you right back to Mexico as soon as you take a bite of it along with the staff being friendly.
Amazing food, Amazing service. Thank you Lee and Matt for gave us a lovely evening. We hired the muchacha catering for a small a wedding reception and we got more that we were expecting, lot of tasty food, great vibe and the best service. Looking forward for our next event
Very friendly and good service. I had a chicken taco but with all the tomato salsa it made a lot of liquid which made the taco soggy. Maybe avocado instead would have been better and nicer. The filling was quite bland. Those who had the nachos and burritos said theirs were very tasty. The crispy jalapeños were really good - we shared that as a starter.
I keep coming back to this place and it never disappoints me. Food is tasty, price is great, the size of the portions for 2022 are freaking enormous , and the people working there are amazing. It is a Curly must if you leave in the area
Full disclosure: I am Mexican, so there’s always in the back of my mind and unfair comparison, taking into account that here you can’t find the ingredients that we have, and also that the menu has to be modified to cater the palate of locals. Nevertheless, the soft corn tortillas are absolutely delicious and exactly as you would find them in the most traditional eatery in Mexico. I was so pleased to have found something much more authentic and full of flavour than other Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. Will be back for sure.
Great find in North Curl Curl. Lovely food without the big price tag, cool laid back atmosphere and BYO bottle shop next door. I loved their margarita salt rim - couldn't go past buying a couple of containers to take home.Food: 5/5
A local North Curl Curl restaurant, walking distance from home, but unfortunately a real disappointment. We ordered a range of food - nachos, tacos, pork salad. All were bland and tasteless. And the soft taco fell apart in the middle as you were eating. Bland tasteless food - a perfect spot for kids/teens for gutfill. Service was just awful and the basics not in place ie table numbers. We ordered inside the restaurant and our order was delivered to the wrong table who then started eating it even though they hadn't ordered the same things. And whilst I'm really tolerant on the challenges in hospitality at the moment, this was just on another level. The waitresses tried to clear plates twice while we were clearly still eating and there was food left on them. And then we were presented with a bill, despite having paid upfront inside. Kids running everywhere including bumping into you with inattentive parents. Great Mexican options in Dee Why Beach Burrito and Freshie Mex in Freshwater.
My fav Mexican place in the Northern beaches. Visit often for the veggie taco salad.
