Visited here for Sunday Brunch & found the food was 8 out of 10. Their menu said they have Gluten Free Bread however when we went to order they said they didn't have any. They also don't have lactose free milk. I ordered a black coffee due to no lactose free milk and had poached eggs with bacon but without the bread. It was very quiet with only one other couple in the cafe so the service was fast and friendly.. The decor inside was nice and inviting however the heater wasn't on so it was extremely cold in the cafe on the winters day we visited. They have a nice selection of cakes also, but the menu wasn't very extensive for the food options. We give it a 4 out of 5.
I typically try to keep my reviews positive but this is unavoidable. Sunday morning brekky ruined by Mrs S, the place is obviously under staffed and over occupied. Family and I sat down and ordered some cooked food from the menu. We got a muffin and friand that took over 20mins to come out for the kids and they were both hard and stale. The cooked food took over roughly 45 mins to come and when it did it had obviously been sitting there long enough for it to be cold and undesirable. Took one bite, asked for a refund and left. Mc Donalds drive through on the way home. Sorry Mrs S, we won't be back. At least your coffee was good.
Beautiful lunch, we had the salmon salad and the Asian beef salad and they were both fresh and delicious. Coffee was perfect Fast and courteous service, I like what they are doing here. Has a nice and relaxed feeling about it. Thank you!
Customer service was good. Seating out front and courtyard in back, either way it's a nice atmosphere. Menu isn't overly large, but enough items to choose from. Food itself, okay. Prices - average.
It's nice to chill at their back patio : their long Mac is also decent.
You would think that a place opening up in the Highgate Mt Lawley area in this day and age would have a vegan or at least vegetarian option on the menu but nope. Nevermind we managed to cobble together something we thought. Then sigh our breakfast arrived with butter patties so our ciabbata toast was dry no oil and hence our beans and mushrooms our only options on top were a little uninspiring. It's a very cute place but please give us something to eat!!!
Lovely place and service but two serves of toast with butter for one, asked for second which was hard as rock. Difficult to spread with steak knife provided. First world problem, think i will go and tell myself to get over it.
We had the smashed avo and the pulled pork bagel. Both were amazing! The coffee was also excellent and cakes looked beautiful :
One of my favourite breakie venues. Coffee is always smooth and luxurious. Best breakies are the corn bread with bacon and the fruit and rose pannacotta. Both the Mt Lawley and the Maylands restaurants are top class.
It's so so. Food ok .Cashier was rude to my partner. Was told 3 times we couldn't split the bill, we had already told them we are ordering for the table and we will pay one bill at the end. But still continued to say can't split the bill.
