The food was enjoyable, though not exceptional. The flavours were robust, but the service was slow. Additionally, the staff seemed indifferent, lacking warmth and friendliness.

We visited Mr. Shawarma on a weekday as we were shopping in the area. This family- owned restaurant has plenty of seating and a welcoming atmosphere.nnWe ordered a Shredded Shawarma Platter that came with 3 different dips hummus, baba ganoush, garlic sauce. The dips were quite flavourful and the quality was evident. However, the shawarma chicken itself was rather lightly seasoned for our taste and was a bit bland.nnWe were given a choice of salad to go with our platter and chose a Fattoush Salad- which was incredibly fresh and the fried bread on top was delicious. To our disappointment the platter didn’t come with rice so we ordered that on the side.nnOverall, the quality of food was good as was the service.
