Quite possibly the rudest company I have ever dealt with. We had an iMac repaired in October 2022. It has since failed and I contacted them to get advice on how to have it looked at again. The person I spoke who said "yeah" at the end of every sentence was extremely condescending and told me to take it back to the manufacturer, that they don't do that work any more and that they also had to put food on the table. I asked him by what he meant by the manufacturer he proceeded to rant on how they don't make the parts, that they only put em together and said what do you think we do, make em out the back here ? there all made in China yeah. Had the work done, paid for the work, work failed would not honour warranty. Steer Clear !
They did a great job, my computer is good as new, Luke was nice and explained the issues very clearly.
We had a very bad experience here . I put the computer in for my daughter because it was starting and restarting. She is at a school that only uses laptops not books and so she needed it..computer was bought brand new in 2020. He said he would order parts as it was components missing and then 3 weeks later said he thought it was a different issue with the charging port ..and that they were fixing that ..I would not hear from them until I called them. So finally after those 3 weeks and I called for updates he said it was ready for pick up. My daughter took it to class happy she could be part of the class now ..turned it on and it did the exact same thing..started then restarted and this was after her school had offered to pay a bill I couldn't afford for 280 dollars !. Took back computer and was told alot of other issues it could be by Luke. Then finally after another few weeks he said ..they've done tests on it all day and it's working ..it lasted one day then it started and restarted again ! So by this stage my daughter was failing a subject very needed to have the computer and she did fail it due to this rubbish service because the second time we took it back it was still broken. He had not fixed it at all..then he said if there's an issue with the heart of the computer we can't fix that.. ffs why didn't you say that in first place ..so what did you fix ? If you didn't know what was wrong why string us out for nearly two months ...worst experience ever and yes she failed Subject an is miserable about it and it's their fault ..a autistic teenager ..so thanks ..for nothing Luke and Mr pc
Hands down my worst experience from a computer shop, took my old laptop in for a tune up and fix keyboard- specifically on a Friday as I need the thing for work on Monday. . And I made that clear at drop off. Arrived on Monday, and they hadn’t even looked at it yet. And told me that me keyboard was impossible to fix with out spares that might not even exist. Thankfully I’ve found another shop that fixed my keyboard issue for free, while fixing a separate issue. I won’t be coming back here.
Extremely poor communication from the team at MrPC IT Solutions. Dropped off my laptop a month ago after I had spilled water on the device. Was told they would call me back to determine if they could fix the motherboard or else at least perform data recovery. After two weeks I heard nothing. So I called them myself and they said they had successfully recovered my data and to drop off my hard drive for data transfer. I dropped off my hard drive and they said they would call me back once it was completed, but expected it to take less than 24 hours. After a week, still no callback, so I had to proactively call them again. They said my hard drive was corrupt and to bring in a new one. I brought in another hard drive and they said the data recovery was corrupt and they still needed to work through that before transferring data onto the hard drive. It’s been another week and still no call back from the team. Overall, poor communication. Would not recommend.
Well deserved 5 stars, I would give 6/5 as they delivered more than promised. Here's how: The technician explained me clearly how much they can practically do about the heating problem of my laptop, and what to expect. Despite that, he kept me updated about all the efforts put on the laptop, performed thorough testing and applied more fixes based on the results they saw - all with clear communication and no extra charge. And finally delivered a highly reliable overall service.
Took in a MacBook Air for water damage repairs. Fixed promptly and now working as before. Great service, know their stuff. Also had a charging issue a few days later, took it back and they were able to fix bent pin at no additional cost. Very thankful. Will be back.
