Food was generally good, good price and came out in time. Even though everything was ordered together drinks didn't arrive until we finished half our meal. Had to ask twice. Customer service is the only downfall to this place.
I would never come to this restaurant again and not recommend it to anyone. But if you want to be educated on how to speak to staff or wanna have NOT fresh meat, come here and enjoy it. The BBQ meat was NOT fresh at all, the black part would be hiding at the bottom. I asked one of the staff, can I have some more side dishes, please? Staff: Yes then she left. After a few minutes, the boss came to us and asked: what? Side dish what? What did you say to my staff? The attitude was full of blame. I answered his question: could we have some more dishes? Boss said: you should say can I have a side dish to my staff, not just say side dish. ???? Are you serious???? Your staff only remember the keyword “side dish” and then you came to blame the customer that we just said side dish to her to make her confused?
This is the first time I have come to eat after the epidemic. Before the epidemic, we basically came every two weeks. First of all, I was surprised that they did not increase the price, but when the meat was served, you will find that each serving is very small. The most annoying thing is that there was a male waiter who didn't bring me water 15 minutes after we ordered. After I asked him if he should provide customers with water and cups, he directly told me: you can talk to my manager. After that every time I needed help he would ignore our needs, even if he saw us calling him over.
Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. Easily one of the best KBBQ we've been to in Brisbane and we've been to a lot. The bbq is charcoal, food tasted great, and cost was what we'd expect to pay neither expensive nor cheap. The hotpot was delicious! Yes, they're pretty busy and probably a bit understaffed, but the guy at the front was rushing around getting everything out in good time. He even stopped a few times to check in on us and give us some tips :
Back for dinner Friday 16.9.22, we arrive at 5.45pm and help ourselves to our fav table. Warmly greeted by the Owner/Manager we ask for the Beef Set and Beef Bulgogi. A very enjoyable and satisfying meal for two. Thanks again to the helpful staff. Cheers! We are regulars and we visit Mr Bap every 6 weeks. Dinner for two on 9.8.2022 and we order the Beef Set $59 and Wagyu Chuck Rib $33. Service is fast with my Soju served immediately and our Meat Platter arriving in 10 minutes. We like the delicious smoky flavour of the charcoal grilled meats and it’s nicely complemented with ice-cold Soju. A very enjoyable meal. Thanks guys! 29.10.22 We have been back twice this month. We love the meat quality here and the service has improved markedly.
Really disappointed. I normally don't write reviews like this. But I had to. I ordered pork kimchi fried rice. Bit there was no pork. Only kimchi. Also haven't cared when packing.. not pleasant. After having dinner, mu stomach is struggling..feeling not good. Sorry to write this kind of review. But hope you can improve your cooking.
1 Star because the customer service was embarrassing… The order taker put the menu in our face while talking to other customers… they were so unenthusiastic when taking our order… maybe bring the hot charcoal out first before filling our table with raw food? I also had the eftpos terminal slammed on the table? Was very obvious they were trying to make it an uncomfortable experience Really delicious food and even priced well, I would pay 30% more but the discount is well justified due to their absence of people skills. I recommend the owners go to ANY Korean restaurant in Brisbane & take some notes on how to treat customers nice! Wont take much to improve what you have going on at the moment !
This place, as of today is the place we will visit regularly. Cook your our or have them cook. Cooking yourself is the bomb. Place is clean and friendly and very reasonably priced. Atmosphere is attractive giving a feel of fun, food and service is excellent. Definitely our place now as a good to. Soju mmmm. Edit: omg try the Blueberry Rice wine...woah. beautiful.
First Korean BBQ experience for me and it was a lot of fun. The 2 large platters of meat and the side dishes came out in about 5 minutes! They tasted great and the prices are reasonable. It made for a different experience cooking my own meat. I will be back again. My family will be too.
Wish I can give zero star. Food was average. Customer service was the worst. The male waiter looks like the manager literally just threw everything on the table. We are a group of 4 ordered 6 meals + bbq. We already had the side dishes and the stove on the table which pretty much occupied the whole table. But the waiter kept bringing the food and handed it to us to sort it out. We had to hold the BBQ platter up before he realises that we have no space to put and he then only combined another table for us. Will definitely not be back again.
