Just your average Cafe good food nice and warm on a rainy day I have the satay chicken it had lots of sauce although it was a bit sweet and the wife had a roastie and it was good.
Would you like some chicken with all that sauce? -------- Had to look for the chicken in my meal, there was so much sauce. Clearly no idea what sauce is versus the key ingredient. Sauces enhance the principal ingredient, they are not the key ingredient!!!. Really disappointing.
The cafe was very busy, as it was Mother's day brunch, and understandably there was a longer wait on food, but it took over an hour to receive, and other tables seated after us were served before us, we were only served after asking for a check on our order. However the food, once it arrived, was very tasty. When not delivering food some staff just wandered around, not cleaning tables, or asking if we would like anything else/taking our empty dishes. I realise its a busy and stressful morning for the staff, which is why I have given 3 stars and not lower.
Customer service is really bad, even when not busy the waitresses are really unattentive and leave dirty dishes on the table for more than 1/2 hour, also the lady at the cashier doesn't speak or understand English very well, which is really frustrating when you're trying to pay. All the items on the menu are quite pricey. The poached eggs were a bit hard boiled and the avocado wasn't 100% ripe, but at least the presentation and food quality is good.
I never complain but we were on our way up north and popped in to mozaic to have a good coffee whilst we battled the New Years traffic heading north. We were horribly disappointed, I couldn’t drink my coffee it was disgusting. My long black didn’t taste remotely like coffee and was loaded with sugar which I never requested. My wife’s coffee tasted like warm soy milk with the remotest hint of flavour and the lady brewing it when the coffee was served up wasn’t even sure if the soy flat white she’d made was a soy flat white
Average food, average prices. Early bird breakfast is well priced, but is consistently slow every week - took 30mins to arrive today and not at all busy. Can’t justify going again due to the long wait. Sorry.
I never thought I would ever say this about any Cafe or restaurant but.... That eggs benedict I had on Tuesday morning was the most disappointing I have ever had. I don't make many reviews, this time I thought I needed to say something. It was more like a deep fried breakfast with hollandaise sauce poured on top. It was my mates birthday so we also got two Coronas ... Total cost was $65.00 - very overpriced for such a disappointment, the only thing that was OK was the drinks. Will not be going back and will not be recommending to anyone.
Furniture and decor seem unloved. Lunch menu was huge in size but only had 4 items on it. There was another lunch menu, a bit of an overload. I had an iced coffee which I asked to only have ice, coffee and milk in but there was cream and other things in it. My friends flat white was large in size and was average in taste. For a huge cafe there was only one other table occupied. This place has so much potential but isnt a place is go back to in a hurry.
Would have rated negative if I could. Worst coffee I have ever had. Felt like drinking milk. The store was full of flies and the floor was so sticky that I had to go back home, wash my shoes. Filthy
Didn't get chance to order or sample the food as we walked out after 10 minutes of no service. My cafe experiences suggest it would be best to ask that customers order from the counter first and get a number.
