Would be nice to know how long the walk is at the start and the grade for people who would like to do it but not sure how long it will take. I started it but my wife was waiting in the car and I had no phone reception so no way to advise her how long it would take. I am sure it is a nice walk. Good to see toilets there.
Very short distance walking track, would be good if this at least completed a loop. Climbing to the top not recommended for your safety. Very nice and quiet day area with bbq.
This was amazing to see the drone let's me get some great photos
2 stars for the picnic area and the very small amount of aboriginal culture you learn about. Very poor signage. Very short walking track to a bench where you can barely see the rock formations in the distance. Looked like some tracks people had made up to the top but they were so over grown I couldn't find a way without having a couple of hours to burn. Over all very disappointing
It would have been better if it was maintained and had more signage. We didnt go to the top. Just to the base. No clear path or info to get up there.
We thought we could climb part but all you could do was to walk around part of the land near it. Some good views of the basalt columns from afar. Not worth going out of your way.
Very interesting geological feature only a few mins outside of Thangool, worth stopping there for lunch for a walk around the hill while driving inland.
A lovely park to have a picnic or to rest. The walk is a gentle and easy walk and is well maintained. Toilets and picnic tables are available.?
A great little picnic spot but you'll need to be pretty fit and agile to make it to the top of the mountain. About 1km from the car park to the top plus a 100 metre scramble up the rocks. There is no defined path to the top, you just have to use your pioneering skills. Definitely worth the climb for the great 360 degree views. Took me about 40 minutes each way.
Nice easy day visit, could be better sign posted and closer access to the mountain
