Have driven passed everytime, then after checking prices for accommodation in Daintree Village, Mossman $195+! Which is ridiculous,  we rang here, turned up, simple room with shared amenities with a beautiful comfy bed, clean, high ceilings and verandah, classic old country pub accommodation,  bloody excellent! $100 great service by Pam and forgot the other ladies name, fast, efficient and knew what your drinking and were onto you before you got to the bar! Service is on point! Ordered and enjoyed beautiful meals, country meals where you appetitie is truly satisfied oh I can eat hahaha, and a great friendly, safe atmosphere where kids play and the local Kat meanders around!nAdvice?nDont swing by, kick back, have a few, enjoy a great meal and stay the night, these places only survive when being supported, you will love your time here, we will be back even just to stay the night again. Cheers

Love this pub, been coming here sporadically for 30+ years. Love the history, just imagine the atmosphere 100 years ago with James Venture Mulligan behind the bar on a busy night. Beer was sweet n the hostess was smokin :-

We didn’t stay at the hotel, however Tyson - our owner, director and my wonderful partner had stopped in for dinner while waiting for an escort to head down the range on his way to Mossman for work. As he was away for his birthday, I contacted the team beforehand to see if they could help me surprise him and they absolutely went above and beyond.nnThe staff surprised him with cake and sang Happy Birthday to him.  He had no idea it was coming, and it genuinely made his night while being away from home working.nnThank you to the team for being so kind, thoughtful and accommodating. It meant more than you probably realise, and the effort you put in created such a special memory for him. Exceptional customer service and genuinely lovely people.

Best stop off for a pub meal & cold brews at a fair price.nGood semi outdoor areas, fantastic friendly service.

We stopped for a light lunch and stayed 2 days. Great food, cold drinks and best of all we were made to feel welcome from the time we walked through the doors.
