Story

The Mount Isa Civic Centre is a multi-purpose venue specialising in providing entertainment, theatre, conferencing, meeting rooms and exhibition facilities. We bring the finest state, national and international performers to Mount Isa where they can play in our 1000 seat auditorium.

We present an ongoing annual programme of visual arts exhibitions and installations featuring the work of local artists alongside work from National Gallery and State Art Galleries. Film and video art is also exhibited.

We produce a wide range of Arts Development projects and programmes with a strong community base including Battle of the Bands and large scale musical theatre pieces.

You'll often find a show or exhibition, or some other event, to your taste on at the Civic Centre when you are in town. So come on in, enjoy the cool, and let us entertain you.

We can also provide you with delights for your taste buds at our many catered events, and a full range of refreshments at any one of our three bars.
