Fantastic place with a really great menu. They have lots of specials for lunches.nnWe had the fisherman's basket, fish and chips, and the steak.nnAll of our meals were cooked well and really tasty. They have seating inside and out.nnThe lovely ladies were all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back and try more dishes.
The most tasteless beef patty i have had in a while. Bacon had no flavor either.nIt's a pity because it's a nice place and seemed a nice plate. But tasteless!nPs. get some little cups for coffee as the guy was using a water glass for it
Really love this place, atmosphere is great, food is a bit hit and miss, cocktails are great & well made, entertainment today was great
Lunch and dinner specials offer value for money. There's plenty of dining space to accommodate large bookings.nnI had a fisherman's Catch while my hubby had the sirloin steak. I must say, those chips are the best on the market but they could be cooked crunchier. If you didn't order drinks, you can get away with less than $20/per person.nnMy friend tried the creamy garlic prawns with rice. The amount of sauce is generous, in my opinion, it would have gone better with pasta noodles than rice.
Went to Jute Box Saturday night but were sadly disappointed as we don't believe more than one speaker was working and we could not really hear anything that was said and most of the time the music as well. It was muffled and when people actually started to leave, we started to hear the music but not really the DJ's.nnThe food was amazing Guinness Pie and the Affogato Dessert fantastic. The Pie was extremely very very hot and took ages to cool so you could eat it. Chips were also delicious. Not too bad with prices.nnWe have been trying to get to this place for ages, so very disappointing and 3 requests that we made, as soon as we arrived 6.30 and none were played at all. When we left about 11, we listened in the car and still none were played.
