Really helpful and patient staff, beautiful food big servings!, and VERY yummy cocktails. The quietly busy atmosphere means you can have a conversation without yelling. They have both kids and seniors options that are great value. Kid's playground looks awesome.
Lovely place for an evening with friends or family. Food was decent, excellent service and polite staff. We ordered chicken parmigiana, veg supreme pizza and a 3rd item can’t remember the namemushroom balls or something. Pizza was very tasty. Chicken was a bit dry and the sauce with mushroom balls was too sour. The lime lemon bitters drink was the best of all. We had a better overall experience at the club Southside in upper mount gravatt but this one’s worth a visit too.
Great food! Staff were lovely and came to check on the meals part way through, also asked if we were done before taking the plates away. Great outdoor seating area, mostly shaded.
The buffet Xmas day wasn't the best..$130.. under cooked vegetables. And over cooked seafood..lobster tasted like rubber..prawns were soft and old. Oysters were no where near fresh..pitty.
Our pub meal today was delicious! The ribs were moist, juicy and tasty, fell off the bone, nice size too, yummy fries and the mushroom sauce! Yum! The chicken schnitzel was also yummy, nice size, perfectly cooked & nice and thick.. staff were also friendly. Will definitely eat there again
Bar tender was lovely, the Restaurant however where clueless and had very poor customer service skills. The steaks where of very poor quality not worth 38.00 They also use bonded meat and charged close to 40 dollars for glued together eye fillet. Was a 230.00 order 3 steaks all terrible. We would have come back if the woman running the restaurant was the least bit attentive or courteous.
Paul and Cheyene are absolute legends. They look after their patrons and we feel like part of the community by being served here and by them. Best pub in the area - hands down! The pool table is also why we come down - a quality pool table and only $3 a play.
It's a solid two star experience. The staff are nice and probably the nicest part of the entire place. The food was slightly underwhelming for the price, more attention needs to be given to the sides, chips and salad etc. The place is about 20 years overdue for a renovation, Woolworths, who own it really need to start upgrades.
It was kinda ok. Tasted like there was no salt in my food whatsoever. The steak was unseasoned, the chips. The vegetables, and the sauce tasted like there was no salt in them at all... really bland and not very nice...
Staff are great. The food not so much, My very expensive eye fillet was not left to sit and therefore I had blood all over the plate. Our friends had shnitzel which was almost burnt to a crisp and the Barramundi was Farmed Barramundi, done in batter, grey and not appetizing at all. I go there often but this will be the last time. Chefs need attention.
