I highly recommend to visit the mount Ainsil and enjoy the gorgeous view of Canberra. I don't know why I wait so long to go there. I love this place. There is a 2.4 km track starting from the top of the mountain to the down. I absolutely love it. One of my favourite spots of Canberra

If someone interested to see the parliament house and the wall memorial at the same time it is a nice place during daytime and night 24 hours open

Had fun on this walk, all sealed and not too hard to complete. The walk is also dog friendly for on leash dogs. You can just drive to the lookout if walking is not your thing..

It is easy to take the beauty of Canberra for granted.  Even locals should come here once & in a while to appreciate the views.   I recommend arriving at least 30 minute before the official sunset.

Always visit Mt Ainslie at sunset when in Canberra. We took a picnic and stayed an hour at Dusk. The view of Canberra was spectacular. It is such a thrill to look out to Parliament House down Anzac Parade and driving there, you pass the War Memorial with an Avenue of Honour and individual Memerials for War.

Very beautiful views of Canberra, we walked from Dickson and it was a really joyful hiking, highly recommend. The drinking water tap in the lookout is a bonus.

Beautiful panoramas of the city. Way better views the  the Telstra tower... and it's free!

A great walk up hill. Not for the faint hearted.. an all weather track with a few steps. Better to do early in the day. Nice views from the top.

Wonderful panoramic views of Canberra and beyond, parking is easy and you access all areas on foot as well ,nice spots to park and eat your lunch or just sit and contemplate your life. A great spot to recharge your batteries and enjoy the scenery,  great place to take visitors to show them the layout of Canberra.
