Welcome to Motuoapa Bay Holiday Park. We are situated on the southern shores of Lake Taupo 8kms north of Turangi and 40kms south of Taupo.

Story

Motuoapa Bay Holiday Park is adjacent to the Beautiful Motuoapa Marina. We offer lake front tent and powered sites. 200m walk to the renowed Licorice Cafe. Come and stay in our amazing fully self contained units (heaters in all rooms great for the ski season) We have a great winter 2 night special deal $170.00 for 2 people. (not availabe for public holidays)

I've stayed here twice. Once in a tent and once in the Kombi cabin which is cute and comfortable and has everything you need in a cabin... a comfy bed and the plugs, tables and lights in the right places. The staff and guests are friendly, location is lovely and you can hire kayaks and paddle boards if you want to get out on the lake. There's also a great cafe a couple of minutes away.

Friendly service! Site is by the lake. Facilities are nice and clean : big kitchen, laundry and dryer machines, dumping station, hot shower. Good vibe. The only downside is that shower room is very limited (total only 4 showers for the whole facility, so got some queue at times), and you have to tune the hot water knob very finely to get the perfect hot water temperature.

Haven't stayed there but have spoken with the owners who seem very nice. The park is good with lovely cabins and right on the lake. I would think a very nice place to stay

Great kombi cabins and friendly staff, accommodating of late arrivals. Wonderful views of the lake, paddleboarding and kayaking.
