This place is amazing, it’s like goolwas hidden gem! Atmosphere beautiful. The coffee tastes great, perfect roast and their sourdough is nice and crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. The service is even better, the owners are friendly and the young girl serving was extremely polite and did amazing at her job.n10/10 would recommend !!
A great cafe! Very impressed with everything about it. Had the Smashed Avo with an egg & no bread and it was so tasty. Well presented and a decent amount of food. Hubby highly recommends the Turkish Eggs.nWe will be sending anyone visiting Goolwa to stop in at Motherduck.
Tucked away long Goolwa's main street. Went there with some family for a casual birthday brunch. Our table of four ordered the bacon & egg roll, 2x smashed avo and I had the Turkish eggs with a side of chorizo.nnWow - the Turkish eggs has an amazing chilli oil jam built into the garlic and dill puree that two poached eggs sat on. As per the menu recommedatio, the chorizo works beautifully with this dish.nnThe serving sizes are generous particularly the smashed avo and the decor and ambiance perfect for a calm Friday morning.nnI'm not local to the area, but this is a keeper for my South Coast list as I visit once per year.nnHighly recommended!
Dropped in for breakfast based on a recommendation, glad we decided to follow the advice. We had eggs Benedict, banana bread, coffee and a chocolate, peanut butter & banana smoothie. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, the coffee was great, the smoothie is a must have if you like peanut butter and the banana bread was very good. The place is covered in heaps of ducks, have fun trying to find them all.
Absolutely loved this cafe! The food was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was perfect. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing.
