The staff are friendly, there are lanes free for different swim levels you can check online. Facilities have been upgraded and the showers are awesome. A great way to get my exercise and come away feeling fresh and ready to tackle the day.
Attended a water aerobic class fircthe first time and thought it was great. Waterr temp was 29oc. Instructor was caring and explained the movements very well. The other participants were friendly. Booked to go back next week..can't wait!!
I love this pool. For us it's perfect. The toddler swim classes are great, Michelle is a natural and brilliant swim teacher. I know they are currently trying to sort out the Aquasise classes but I understand the challenge and they appear to be doing what they can. The play swim area is small so it's not suitable for large groups or most older kids but it works for toddlers. I find the staff friendly, David the lifeguard is good at appropriatly encouraging my daughter and her swiming. Plus the showers are in great condition.
This is by far my favourite pool in Sydney - pool is clean, showers are nice and warm, and best of all, the staff are the sweetest. We've had to pleasure to meet life guards Richard and David and they go the extra mile in their work - very impressive.
Really poorly managed. Twice in the last month I have turned up for a class to be told it was cancelled - despite booking online a couple of hours before the class, and also calling to confirm it was on. Incredibly frustrating that no one calls you to tell you the class is cancelled - and that even when you do call they get it wrong. The classes themselves have been great though.
I took my 10mo girl for water babies session to familiarise herself with water ect … I found that the quality of the “lesson” depending on the instructor / day of the class varies from 1 poor to 10 excellent.Despite multiple feedback shared & follow up from my end and other patents from the group no action was taken by the club. It has been weeks now & we have decided to leave.
I started last year booking a private lane at Mosman Swim Centre, Mel who looks after admin and bookings was so helpful and made sure i was booked in at a time where the pool was quieter and ensured that the staff kept my lane free from other swimmers during my booking. I have been training there every week, with a great improvement in my skills being evident, I will continue to go every week on a Sunday morning as there is nothing like it to start your day.
Mosman Swim Centre is a kind of boutique pool, not a big one, but I like it, the staffs are professional & friendly, very clean and everything is in a very good order, I wish the dressing room was a bit warmer during the winter days!
What a disaster; worst pool I've been too. Avoid! 1. Dirty: unsure what filtration/treatment they use, but my toddler had diarrhoea for 4 days after his class, and I got cold for week. 2. Missing amenities: changing rooms combined with showers and toilets, maybe 3x6m, no lockers to store clothes, two small changing benches to share, no doors/curtains on showers, no hair dryers. 3. Shower scam: there's only ice cold water in showers, even in winter. To get warm water, one must go buy "coins" back at the reception for $0.50 per shower session. To add to the insult, you're not getting any even if you purchased $100+ classes and you can't buy them in advance !?; and you can't buy them with card because of minimal transaction limit sigh 4. Cold: the pool is not heated even with <10 deg outside and the water is chilly to say the least. 5. Crowded: tons of people on all lanes, tons of spectators right at the edge of the pool or just wandering about in dirty shoes, get ready to fight for each scrap of bench space in the change room. 6. Reservations will make you cringe: you can't just make reservation over the phone or in person, you have to use some web page from the 1990's. You need a PhD to navigate it, you'll get gray waiting for it to finish loading, it crashes, it will show you wrong classes for no reason, it fails to store your password and refuses to log you in if it's too long
Team of Superstars! Thanks to the great pool ofpun intended trainers and supporting staff, we are learning to swim as adults. We can walk in anytime and practise during non-class hours; something we enjoy each week. Feel more agile in water each passing day.
