They accepted my child without hesitation along with the high tuition fees, but one of the female teachers was extremely rude. She raised her voice and said, ‘Why are you in Australia?’ and ‘What’s your purpose?’ because my child is not fluent in English. If they can only accept English speakers, they should not have accepted us in the first place. It was very unpleasant. Furthermore, one of the students here made a discriminatory gesture by pulling their eyes back, mocking my child for being Asian. I was under the impression that there was no such discrimination in Australia, so I was deeply shocked.
