Tiny portions as others have pointed out. We ordered 1.5 servings of fish and a serving of chips as shown in the photo. I’ve never paid so much for such a meagre portion. The fish and chips themselves were oily and not very nice. Won’t be back.
We go here for our weekly Friday night dinner. The fish is beautiful we have local schnapper and fresh. We think it’s the best fish and chips.
The portion size of chips are ridiculously small. We ordered fish and chips for 5 people and the portion of chips was barely enough for two people. Seriously, we had a second dinner after the fish and chips which is a sentence I thought I’d never write. Fish and chips should leave you full/satisfied! Not hungry. Tiny tiny servings. Fish was delicious tho.
Tiniest portions of chips I’ve ever seen at a fish and chips, we even ordered chips for 3 because we understand prices for things have gone up and we still only got just enough chips for 1 person. We decided to go back and tell them and we’re greeted with horrible customer service and rude owner/manager. Wouldn’t go back.
Chips were not great, quite inconsistent - a few very crispy oily ones, but mostly kind of "undercooked potato" flavoured ones. Strangely bright yellow colour!
This place was good years ago and is now terrible. Tiny portions, super oily, I feel sick after eating. Super disappointing.
I think you get what you pay for - the quality & choice of fish is great, the chips have always been delicious - I think they keep their frying oil hot - which makes for crispy not soggy chips - & Jackie employs local kids, who she kindly teaches how to be efficient & polite. A fantastic local business & I enjoy their f & c’s
Im a kiwi and I like my fish underdone and they do my order perfectly every time I go in there. The folk are always polite and of course the fish and chips are yummy. I have taken numerous family and friends to this shop so they get to try real good fish and chips and every single one of them have enjoyed them and have gone back there since. Try them out.
Wish I had taken a photo of the glorious meal of fish - Spanish mackerel,,squid and chips Generous serving, everything crisp and super tasty. Thank you Ms Chinese lady welcome back and her excellent team. Simply the Best.
Dear mr Mosman. P Seafood I came into the store on the 19th of july, 2008. I have not had access to google until today, but I would like to say the quality of your food is excellent and I will hope to return again some day. The only problem is I was bitten by a snake on the way out; i hope this can be resolved
