Great Coffee, food good. Had a chicken toasted sandwich and it was very large. Serving size was beyond expectation. Would return if I’m in the area Parking: Location is great, parking is limited particularly during busy times
My family have been going to this cafe for a long time as we have lived close by for about 10 years. I can't believe I've never taken the time to leave a google review! The cafe owner Terry has been an amazing support to my family and whenever we have needed a change of scenery from eating at home, whether it is with or without our two young children. He always makes my family and I feel special and part of the family. I can always come here and not feel embarrassed about how I look, dress or worry that I will be judged by whatever mood my kids decide to be in. Our kids absolutely love going there and getting their babychinos and marshmallows. The coffee is great - the best in Mortdale. If you are new to the area or want to try somewhere new, give Grind a go - you won't turn back. Kid-friendliness: The owner is great with young kids!
Delicious food, friendly service, and spacious. Courtyard at the back is good for kids, can be a bit warm on hot days. Only tried the Açai bowl, need to come back and try the rest of the menu! Oh and the kids pancakes looked great and were fluffy.
The owner Terry is really friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic and the coffee is great! We ate the Avo Smash and Eggs Benedict with a few added sides.
On the 24th September our son turned 21. I went in before this date to get a coffee then met with the amazing owner Terry. I asked if I could have a birthday breakfast for our boy because that’s all he wanted to do for his birthday. I so wish I can give Terry and his staff way more than these 5 for how they made our boy’s special day beyond beautiful. He truly felt like royalty on his day, so from the bottom of our hearts thank you so so much Terry/your staff. Everything I ever asked for, Terry made sure he went above and beyond to get them done, all with their endless smiles on their faces. We sat at the courtyard part of Terry’s cafe such an amazing spot and was private for us to enjoy our boy’s milestone birthday celebration. The food and coffee were bloody divine highly highly highly recommend. Please go find out for yourself you will not be disappointed. I have gone back to Grind cafe because of how Terry treated me when I went there over three years ago. He’s so genuine and his Customer service is bloody outstanding. I wish you Terry and your staff all the very best and thank you again for your amazing service and beautiful smiles
I had the steak on Turkish bread and it was great - with chips at only $15 it was a great deal! Seems to be a great cafe - will be back to try the other dishes on their menu.
Lovely small cafe up the road! Fast and friendly staff but a bit pushy and on your back at certain times. We ordered the big breakfast and berry buttermilk pancakes which were perfectly presented. However, the ricotta on the pancakes lacked favour as it was suppose to be accompanied by honey, there was no taste of the honey present. The big breakfast was filling and definitely affordable for the quantity you receive. The coffee they use were Campos and they made a good cappuccino.
Great for lunch or breakfast. Very friendly staff and welcoming owner. Always good.Food: 5/5
Looked like a nice cafe to eat at. Food tasted okay alittle on the expensive though, but was immediately sick half an hour after we left. Would not recommend.
Great range of food to try and coffee, other drinks. Meet people or go alone and treat-yourself to brunch or a lovely lunch.
