Edit - I wrote here that I had to wait over an hour just to have other patients called in before me, despite my having an appointment booked well in advance Received a reply from Victoria that they use a triage system so that the most urgent cases are seen first Please explain to me how that system works when I was never asked in person or in the written forms what I was there for. How is the urgency determined then? Would also like to know why other patients were informed in advance about the one hour delay over call or email but I wasn’t told anything which is why my time n money were wasted
Horrible money grabber that only sees you for a few minutes and will discuss one matter per visit. Absolutely ZERO empathy. ZERO duty of care and borderline criminal negligence. Does not listen. Does not care.
I attended with my elderly father with a complex case of cancer radiation treatment and side effects. Reception staff were great. Doctor Khan did not seem to care, was very dismissive, aloof, did not ask many questions, seemed very uninvolved. We had not brought medical history from previous treatment for referrals to other specialists but we felt he was rude and that we were wasting his time. He charged for a long appointment even though all he did was take blood pressure and we were dismissed very quickly. Pretty much charged $140 for a blood pressure check. Very poor! Not recommended. I have seen other doctors there who were good, but not this one.
Saw Dr James Iliac for recreational diving medical certificate. After the physical tests were taken blood pressure, ECG, eyesight, etc. It took several phone calls and three visits to the medical centre to collect all my results. The reception unable to simply deliver my medical results in the first instance, then posted by mail my results however it was still missing a few papers for my blood pressure, eyesight, etc. Had to visit the office in person again to ensure that I had everything on hand. Disappointing that a simple task turned into a herculean effort.
They’re a bit hard to get hold of because they’re super busy! but they’re very accomodating when you need to make, reschedule or cancel appointments and Dr Chin is the absolute best doctor you could find in Adelaide for any minor surgical procedures. His wound closure and healing is better than some of our top surgeons. I always have near invisible scars from any minor procedures and when I’ve had procedures elsewhere I go back to him to fix the wound closure! Nobody does it better. He’s a perfectionist!
Dr Monirul Khan is the best doctor I have ever seen He really takes time to listen to my medical issues but a pity He is leaving the centre
I had an appointment Friday 7/1/2022, and saw Dr Michael Chin, what a amazing, caring wonderful doctor, I was so impressed with his kindness and concern, I wished I could have stayed all day talking to him. A true blessing he was. Also special mention to the 2 wonderful Reception staff who had to deal with a rude walk in, the way they handled it was amazing. Frontline workers do not deserve that type of abuse and I highly praise them for the Professional approach, they deserve a massive hug and all the positive feedback in these trying times. Well done Girls. x
I had a really great experience at Morphetville Medical Centre. Sri, the receptionist was great. Friendly and very attentive. I had a sore hand during my visit and she helped me fill out my new admission form. Dr Chin is a great GP, he is caring, knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me plenty of information on the medications that I'd be taking. They also have a chemist on site which made the whole visit even easier. I will definitely be going to Morphettville Medical Centre whenever I need medical attention. Thank you!
When you are unwell and not the best version of yourself, and then you need to seek medical care, the reception you will receive at this Clinic is incredibly caring and compassionate. Thank you Vicki for the highest example of medical reception.
Bit disappointed with everything. My doctor was always in rush when I went for my checkup, she did not listen to me properly. In every appointment, I was dissatisfied and felt like my concern was not addressed properly, moreover, my doctor did only phone appointment as she does not want to do face to face appointment until February 2022, as my health was not improved for few months with that multiple phone appointment. Therefore, I have to change my doctor and clinic as well.
