Went to lunch today and our table waited over an hour for our meals. We watched the table next to us get at least partial refunds and free drinks to compensate for the ridiculous wait. When we ordered some $4 ice creams for the kids we were still charged despite this being an obvious opportunity to turn around a very disappointing experience. We won’t be back.
Great table service. Friendly staff. Good menu and tasty food. If entering by the southern door, to get to the dining room you have to go past the bar, through the beer garden and then the gaming bar. Better to enter via the western doorService: 5/5
Awesome pub meals, great staff! Shout out to Amy and Ollie in the front bar! Good pricing and good atmosphere. Go for it!
Love this place, such a great pub! all the areas have been designed beautifully, even the sports bar. The best commodity of the Sports Bar though is Aimee the Bar Manager! She was so welcoming, helpful and accommodating; helping to recommend and download the TS app that provides rewards, through to offering to play the NRL on the screen in the outdoor area for us with sound and opening the outdoor side window bar for just 2 of us. It turned our day right around and this level of service was greatly appreciated. MVP of our Saturday.
I went here for dinner and had the barramundi with mushrooms. It was very rich. I think if they halved the mushrooms and added some steamed carrots , beans, or broccoli on the side, it would have been perfect.Service: 2/5
This was the best pub meal we have had in ages. Every dish was exceptional! In fact definitely higher standard than your regular pub meal. Very impressed and happy to highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
Food and service good. However for a booked venue to celebrate a birthday DO NOT REPEAT DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE. A supposed private room was open to the public due to the folding doors being faulty. Unfortunately the ambiance of being able to have a conversation was deafening and that was before the band started. May I say that any hotel which has a band operating in small confines specially outside a hired venue room is not on. Being loud does not make the band sound better. Be warned
Well where do I start .. arrived early and decided to have a quiet drink with lime which the staff member use her hands and drop in the glass this happened on the first 2 drinks and also the next .. Tony’s where their to be used so this person really needs work .. seen another member break a glass behind and then cleaned up but as walking pass you could see shards of glass still in the area .. not good for safety … now let’s go on to the meals we order a starter and main meals we where ask if we want starters early we said that would be great well might have been same time as only arrived 2 mins before main … now the steak we ordered was warm at best again not a good thing I have included a photo of one of the potato as this is not good to see .. well though I would get another drink different server this time .. like done correctly so well done but started with apple cider and had to redo with CC which could have been my fault as I said sorry meant to be no ice .. so please look at this review after spending nearly $200 or maybe more it’s not a good thing to see
My partner and I stayed here for a few nights. The beds are harder than the floor and probably as old as the building. The rest of the room is okay but could use a clean. Our big issue lies with the management and the food. We had not eaten at all that day due to work, so on the first night, we thought to eat at the hotel and ordered two chicken parmies-what could go wrong? The schnitzels were barely cooked, and the sauce was very bland, though it came with a generous serving of chips. We ordered our food around 6:30 PM. Within six hours by midnight, my partner became extremely ill, and an hour or so after that, she couldn't stop projectile vomiting Eventually, It subsided, but the next morning Friday, she ate some toast and went back to vomiting violently, leading us to go straight to the hospital. After talking with a doctor and after many drugs, we were told she was suffering from extreme food poisoning. Once we learned this, we instantly knew there was only one possible source: our hotel When we got out, we informed the hotel manager that night. She took all our detalls and sald she wasn't the manager who deals with this and that we should come back the morning of our checkout when the right manager. would be in. Upon checkout, that manager said the same thing and assured us someone would call us. Well, that was at least a week ago, and we have heard nothing. We have attempted to handle this situation face-to-face with the hotel, but communication is a two-way street, and I am extremely disappointed. The worst part of all this is the dinning area and out door area is beautiful and cosy and the meal looked absolutely delicious but looks are deceiving. The images below were of the actual meal my partner ate too So, long story short: don't stay here, and definitely don't eat here.
Arrived at 1.30 after the lunch time rush, waited an hour for fish and chips!!!!!! Ridiculous, bar staff were friendly and apologetic but obviously the kitchen staff need to be looked at, won't be back Nearby activities: Nothing to say
