Arthur is the most respected wine tour operator in the region. His wife is a senior winemaker and his 20 years experience marketing wine and writing articles and books about the region makes you feel like a very well connected local.

Arthur invites guests to plunge Pinot Noir, feast on regional treats or be inspired by artists at work in Red Hill. Whatever path you choose, the Peninsula’s great spectacles and colourful coastline are woven seamlessly in personalised tours with the local knowledge to discover the rich bounty of Southern Victoria.

We had the absolute pleasure of Arthur guiding us around the wineries of the Mornington Peninsula. A day of discovery filled with fun and laughter.  Starting out at a beautiful local spot overlooking the ocean we got to know each other and Authors rich connection to the area. We then proceeded to several locations all offering something different. We felt welcome at each spot and throughly enjoyed learning the stories of each estate.  Arthur is flexible and initiative to what you are going to enjoy most from the region. We highly recommend a day with him.

My friends and I had an amazing day with Arthur. He is extremely knowledgeable about the region. He knows all the best places to go, and tailored the tasting once he learned what kinds of wine we like. I cannot recommend MP Plunge enough!

Arthur is very knowleagable about all things wines and made my mum's 60th birthday celebration one to remember. A great tour guide and had a very comfy ride in the plunge mobile! Will 100% recommend :

Arthur will take you behind the scenes to meet the staff like Tim who also makes wine and Sean who cooks but would rather be surfing and Louise who likes chocolate cake  and Darren the big wave surfer and the other Darrin who had a sea change from toolmaking to wine making He recites poetry and regales us with stories of past passengers and locals alike, compete with accents. He gives you an impressive knowledge of the history the wine on the Mornington Peninsula, he’s even written a book not to mention the name dropping like Darrel Somers and David Reyne and Bailieu Myer and Tammy Fraser. His wife Geraldine is a big deal chief winemaker at at Jackolope a boutique hotel and took us into the barrel room at Rare Hare. We meet Gilly and Ralph just two of the dogs who happily traded petting for photos Have I mentioned the wine tasting - so much wine tasting and the food from local strawberries on pickup to a fabulous lunch at Merricks General Store. Arthur listens to you and caters the tour to what you like. He is part of the team at many of the wineries we visit and we are treated like royalty.  Scott and Melanie

We had the most incredible day with Arthur, his knowledge about wine and the region was outstanding. Out itinerary was fantastic and included meeting several wine makers. Arthur went all out to ensure we had a great day, even with the Covid-19 restrictions.

By far the best wine experience we have had. Arthur’s knowledge of wine and the personal touches such as the bubbles and cheese picnic at the “secret spot” We will definitely take another Plunge Wine Tour. 10 out of 10

Arthur was the absolute best! My wife and I went into the tour novices and have left with so much knowledge about the region and winemaking in general. Arthur is hilarious and so much fun and is clearly a well respected fixture of the wine community here in the Mornington Peninsula. He introduced us to such incredible people along the way, it really was an absolutely perfect day for us and one of the major standouts of our two week trip to Australia.

What an amazing day! Arthur is such a great host with a wealth of local knowledge and connections. I've been on a few wine tours before but Arthur did an outstanding job of personalising the tour to our tastes and interests. The locations were stunning, the transport was very comfy and the host was first class. Highly recommend!!!

Don't think twice about booking a Plunge tour - it's awesome! My friends and I recently spent the most beautiful winter day with Arthur on the Peninsula and had the BEST time. He organised an amazing itinerary for us from start to finish...behind the scenes access, private tastings with fantastic wines, special little extras bottle of sparkling rose, delicious local cheeses, olives, berries, etc. - experiences you just won't find anywhere else. Arthur's vast knowledge and passion for the region shine through, and his affable personality made the day all the more enjoyable. It was fantastic. Highly recommend!
