A hidden gem in West End. Overall experience was great. One of the owners Michael collected food from our table. There's nothing quite like the personal experience you feel when one of the owners is involved in everything day to day at a cafe.nnThis being said the experience was great. We got 2x Mamuffins and OMG full straight flavour to our pallets. I will say unfortunately this won't be a 5 star. It would be a 4.5 star but unable to rate that. My mate got the Pancakes and the new recipe/what we received was just a little on the too sweet side.nnWe got the Bicsoff milkshake and the Matcha Latte It had a beautiful Pegasus art. Both bloody delicious.nnWould recommend if your in the area. They do say when in Rome right.
West End is a hidden gem in Brisbane! I love the charm of this neighbourhood.nnMorning After is strategically located at the corner with a spacious layout. You can’t miss it if you’re on the street. The service is prompt, and I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast bowl.
I’d heard about Morning After from several friends and finally made my way there around 10am. The place was already buzzing, which speaks to its popularity. The vibe is lively but relaxed, and the fusion brunch menu is definitely a highlight. You’ll find the usual favourites like avo toast and eggs benedict, alongside creative takes such as their omurice with a twist.nnI ordered the omurice, expecting something warm and comforting. Unfortunately, it missed the mark for me. Far too salty! Overuse of soy sauce! The dish had potential but lacked the balance that would’ve made it memorable. It’s a shame, because the presentation was inviting and I really wanted to enjoy it.nnOn the plus side, the coffee was a win. It had a refreshing, clean taste and was well-balanced without being too acidic or strong. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, even with the morning rush in full swing.nnThe atmosphere is really really loud and tables are quite close to each other so if it's an ideal location for group of friends meet up. You can however choose outdoor seatings for quiter background.nnI’d go back for the coffee and maybe try a different dish next time. Worth a visit!
Great spot! So good that they can change some of their non veg options to vegetarian! Love that! And dog friendly outside. Will be back
Food is always delicious but wanted to leave this review to give a special shout out to Sarah and her incredible service this morning. She really looked after my friend and I who are both pregnant and made us feel super comfortable and went above and beyond with her service and smile! Thank you!
