OMG Matsichs has gone from bad to worse over the last 3 -4 yearsnAs if we don’t experience enough Bias prejudice and being stereotyped in the community. We now have to be subjected to this during basic medical appointmentsnI let it go when they had a female locum she actually used street talk with me like a boys in the hood movie , it was really pathetic , this was a few years ago and it was funny I wasn’t the only one who walked out shaking my head , obviously she messed up my referral , I don’t go there anymore in order to preserve my dignity and self respect however I now have to take my grandson for his diagnoses of fasd and adhd and sensory who is on a handful of psychotropic medications Morning and night , who has been unable to attend mainstream school for a decade without ongoing suspensions because the school can’t support him , but according to Dr Steve who saw us for a few minutes only , he is a normal teenager and I have to work on our relationship , he spared me the street talk No DR Steve he is having side effects from the handful of psychotropics he takes that have been increased and is not himself and is not functioning , I am his paternal grandmother he chose to live with and we have a good relationship and he is suffering from side effects from the psychotropics , he never asked any questions that related to medication but Dr Steve focused on making this about a personal relationship problem, my grandsons mood and sensory issues were effected my grandson pointed out why I was speaking in a normal tone , he is having side effects , I left and immediately took my grandson to his Flexischool and his support teachers saw exactly what I was talking about and agree it’s a big change in his appearance mood and behaviours from the new dose of psychotropics Do not risk your families medical care with Matsichs and don’t subject yourself to being stereotyped and treated like aliens by these condescending doctors , My grandsons support teachers will now be supporting him and attending his next medical appointment putting the same information I put forward today next week , I will never go back there again It’s not just one or two doctors like this there has been 3 of them since 2022 , I only came back for this grandsons care who has particularly high needs and Dr Steve goes , normal teenager, what ? he was having side effects during the appointment , he is a lovely normal teenager when you get his meds right , however they are being increased and it’s effecting him big time with no monthly review , That’s why we were there they had such great doctors when they first opened Can you imagine telling the grandparent of an adhd / FASD kid on a Handful of psychotropics known to cause severe side effects where mainstream school and other supports can’t cope for more than an hour - that this a normal teen and you need to work on your relationship when you present for medical review Honestly be careful , don’t mess around with your care too many of us end up with undiagnosed cancers and other serious Health issues and our kids care is neglected as in this case damaging his education and sporting goals and of course the side effects of increased psychotropics on his mood cause “ relationship “ issues and are effecting how he relates to friends and family at the moment We have lost too many people to early deaths because of ineffective healthcare and poor or no treatment by medics for conditions that should have and could have been picked up and treated This is our healthcare it’s not a minor issue they are waiting 6 months to review him while I am bringing him In regularly with Side effects and reporting the harm to his education and upcoming sporting event , this child is suffering and losing his potential and suffering physical symptoms as a result of this arrogant and neglectful medical practice do we really have to bring in evidence and witnesses to support what is happening , that’s the position we are placed in for my grandsons best interests and care to be upheld
Service from some reception staff is disgusting, being told by Amy that my kind aren't welcome.. Well whats my kind Amy, considering we share the same heritage. Dr Steve amazing, nurses amazing, infact all the medical staff are great shame the practice is let down by the Disgraceful treatment of some patients by some reception staff.
Being told there’s no appointments until January or February 2026 in OCTOBER 2025.nnI guess the pain in my sternum can wait…..nnMob time hey.?
This is the first time I've been properly looked after. It did take me a few months to get the 715, but then we have sorted out so many issues. The pelvic pain clinic has completely changed my life, the GPs, dietician, physio all talk to each other and have given me actual treatment plans and not ignored my issues.nIf there's something urgent they have a long wait list to see the doctor, but the nurse can call and see if can get in soon. They just need another GP here is all. Friendly staff.
Forever having appointments cancelled. Called to confirm my daughter’s appointment for Thursday, get told they left me a voicemail on 24th June to reschedule it. They didn’t even call me that day. Reception not good at their jobs. Only reason I continue to come back is Dr Lawson and nurse Erin. Would just love a more reliable service
