Sorry to say, service was peremptory, almost rude, not welcoming or accommodating at all. Perhaps upstairs staff were stressed? Our group of three seniors left. I have never written a negative review before, but we were mightily disappointed. A simple drink after a long walk, with that glorious beach view, would've been great!
The view from the front is amazing but the locals will nick your table when you buy another pint.nI ended up buying a mooloolaba surf club cap and left it on my table with a quarter pint left in my glass, went up to the bar to order another beer and that solves the problem.nOne couple were particularly rude to me saying it was their table and how long was I going to be. So I had a couple extra pints that night.
Had a fantastic meal at their Bayview Restaurant tonight. Food was perfect. View perfect from their upstairs view of the Ocean. Staff were perfect. . Thank you.
Absolutely great food, great cocktails great prices, great view, great staff, thanks to our hosts Denise and Jimmy. Can highly recommend the martini expressos and the whole venue. Will be back!!
We went to the Mooloolaba Surf Club to celebrate my husband’s birthday. He ordered a steak and asked for it to be cooked medium, but it came out medium rare.nnWe politely asked if it could be cooked a little longer, but the chef refused, saying the steak was perfect as it was.nnOur friend also ordered a medium steak and hers was cooked correctly, which made it clear that my husband’s steak wasn’t prepared the way he requested.nnWhat made the experience worse was the attitude from the staff. The response from the chef felt rude and disrespectful.
