We had an AWESOME time here. We found the staff to be happy and helpful. What was great, was that we had the option to go to the bar for drinks or not. As there was a group of us, we where able to split the bill, with no problem at all they even have a great system in place to look after spiting bills. The only down fall is that the toilets are external from the restaurant. But every restaurant in the center has the same issue. Fun Fun Fun, would recommend time and time again.
Worst dinner for a long time. Family went out for a birthday dinner and arrived at 7.00pm. Dinner was not served until 8.00pm. Wrong meals given to the wrong people and when one meal had to be returned as it was incorrect, that family member had to wait another 1/2hr for her dinner. Everyone at table had finished their meal before hers arrived. Meal portions are ridiculously small while the prices are quite high. When we left one family member asked if the messed meal would be given at a discounted price, the male waiter? was quite rude. He demanded to know if she finally got the right meal and did she eat it? If so then pay up. We paid for all our meals and drinks but went elsewhere to for dessert to fill up. Last time we went there it was about 5 years ago and had terrible meals but decided to give them another chance. Well, there certainly won't be another chance and we will be telling everyone we know in Browns Plains not to go there.
Would never go back! Service is shocking. Waiter looked like he just rolled out of bed. There was no other patrons in the place except for myself and my husband for lunch at 1pm! That should have been a warning. The size of the meals are so small and the cost very high. Then he didn't know how to ring up the bill and said they were busy getting dinner meals prepped.... disgraceful. If that Montezumas is still open in 6 months I will be so shocked.
I was expecting an Authentic Mexican Fiesta being a Newbie to Mexican Food, after ordering #10 Saan Andreas which is their garlic prawns sauteed in a rich tomato base spicy sauce. Instead I got a plate of microwaved slop on a so called hot plate, with someone else's left over rice. In my disgust I proceeded to the counter to advise the manager that I would only be paying for my drinks and that she was lucky I was even doing that!!!! So if you are looking for authentic Mexican food, I guess you will have to go to Mexico............. Browns Plains Montezuma's 'Shame on You'
The service was below average, bones in a chicken dish that normally doesn't have bones in it, the manager or whatever he or she is was ridiculous, rude , arrogant, what an absolute waste of money, nothing authentic about this Mexican joint, poor poor poor to say the least.
Been here several times. Food was always yummy and service friendly. Not cheap but where is? Go on your birthday.
As of 15 April 2016, the restaurant is closed, there is a For Lease sign behind a window and the phone number has been disconnected. Such a shame.

The service was slow it was over one hour to get our food and when it came it was poor One of the waitresses had a poor attitude we will never go back
