Absolutely lovely staff and service. Nice set up of tables both indoors and outdoors. Coffee and tea was delicious. Good range of food options but a few hits fresh fruit, crispy bacon and misses dry pancakes, claggy hollandaise.
Took them good 20 mins to bring out my latte. I asked to have here but it end up in a take away cup. Taste like a capsule made coffee and 7-11 even made better coffee. Never ever coming back to this over rated place … what a disappointment and ruin my Sunday morning
Good coffee and the eggs benedict I ordered was pretty good too. Reasonable cafe if with tired decor and a generally dated feel. It was also cold; business was reasonably brisk so it would have been no issue to turn the heating on. The overall effect was of a cafe going through the motions, still turning out reasonable coffee & food but having, somewhere along the line, lost interest in the customer experience.
The hours often have the cafe open when other local cafes are shut, so it makes a great last resort. The service is quite neutral with very few smiles and the staff prefer to chat with each other than the customer, but they aren't rude either. The coffee options are quite minimal, no large sizes or syrups and expect to be charged a credit card surcharge when you pay

A very nice coffee spot on Toorak Road with A selection of cakes with breakfast and lunch also available.it has a small order door area in a walkway from Toorak Road to the Jackson St car parks. Very nice coffee and service.
Green Breaky Bowl with extra egg and sweet potato is amazing. Greens are all nicely kept warm ready for the egg pop. Chilli Scrambled scored very well with friend to. Turmeric based juice was seriously good. Thankyou Monkey Bean team super helpful.
It was nice to see them really taking care of an elderly woman with mobility issues. They went out if their way to make her visit pleasant.Food: 5/5
The best coffee in Toorak, nice staff and good cakes even when the choice of cakes is very limited. Some tables are also on the side walk, where is especially nice to sit on sunny days.
I really like this quaint little place. The coffee is great, the food tastes great and is reasonably priced for the area and the service is fantastic with staff being very attentive.
