Have been waiting for over eight months for an appointment, I'm told my case is not "urgent" even though I'm having three to four absence seizures a day and seizures in my sleep and bite my tongue
On a good day you're lucky if they even pick up the phone. They are completely incompetent at making follow up appointments. I have had several grand mal seizures, and I was due to see a neurologist in November, but now I've been told I'll have to wait until at least January. I get the distinct feeling I'll be writing a review for the Monash ER soon because I'll end up in hospital because I didn't get to see a neurologist.
Very difficult or extremely different to call them. Takes too long getting emails back. It's a petty of poor customer service. Nevertheless, things are improving. Today 10th of March 2023. I called 9 times ..no answer! 95942240
I arrived at 10am on 25/03/22 at the clinic N Neurology for the appointment. The administrator is extremely incompetent on hygiene. She asked me to use the pen in a used box because there is no pens in a clean box. I concerned about "hygiene", she said : " it's the same". i responded why there are clean & used box ?. So she removed the clean box and took off the label on the used box. It's ridiculous. What is social distance rule here?? So we know why the number covid19 cases are soaring now, do we?!
Why does noone answer the phone?? Referral was sent through by our Paed over 2 months ago, still no contact to have an appointment. Have called reception multiple times and never had anyone answer. How on earth does anyone even get an appointment at Monash Neurology??
Rude abrupt specialists for no reason. Phone hardly ever answered either when trying to call reception desk!
Basically no customer service from anyone I've spoken to and can be abrupt. I had to follow up with them on 4 occasions twice they said they don't know where my request to see a neurologist is sitting and to follow-up with my doctor. I'm getting nowhere.
2 months later still no appointment and my Dr faxed them 3 times already! They say leave a email but don't provide a email address when you call. Don't bother calling they don't answer!
My neurologist is fantastic, but getting through to reception, on the phone is near to impossible! They need more than 1 telephone line...how about giving them 3 telephone lines. Please!!
Doctors are very experienced and very nice, I would definitely give it a five star if the receptions are to be more polite, receptions are changing regularly when I visit, sometimes their attitude is bad.
