I couldn't fault my experience at Monash ED. I had what we thought was a chicken bone fragment in my throat but it turned out to be a bbq cleaning brush wire. Over the 5 hours I spent at Emergency - every nurse/doctor I dealt with had amazing bedside manner and I felt looked after. Yes, you have to wait for results from scans etc. & for nurses to look after others but they provided the level of care that I expected and were able to solve my medical issue and fix it. Special shout out to the ENT I had and also the nurse in charge Kaiser? who were particularly great at keeping me calm and positive throughout the uncomfortable experience.
I visited the emergency department yesterday due to concerns about a possible miscarriage. The staff treated me with utmost compassion, professionalism, and efficiency. The doctors and nurses listened attentively to my fears, performed thorough examinations, and provided clear, reassuring explanations. Their kindness and expertise eased my anxiety during an incredibly vulnerable period. I’m deeply grateful for the outstanding care—this team truly goes above and beyond. Thank you!
yesterday Wednesday 26th March 2025 I attended Monash Clayton emergency clinic due to severe pain came from my recently done surgical spot Lumber-Spine which was done on Thursday 20th March 2025.nnRight from the main reception I was very precisely directed to the correct place by all the staff assisted me to get in the emergency clinic. One of ladies at the main reception came to me where I was sitting in the main lobby and showed directions to emergency.nnI well experienced all the staff in Monash Clayton Hospital are very friendly, caring hardworking, honest who their duty devotedly.nnThey all have got one goal that is to see another fully recovered healthy patient going home happily.nnI was thoroughly examined with many doctors and nurses with an x-ray, blood test and with other many tests by many nurses and doctors through out the day. Doctors and nurses gave me required medicines and I was observed as well all the time.nnFinally I was examined by the exact Neurological Surgeons who involved with my surgery last week and they removed surgical dressings completely. I felt very confident and felt very comfortable at that time. Most of my pains came from my body had been reduced by that time. I left from Monash Clayton Hospital very happily and confidently about my surgery.nnAgain I would sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses, all other medical non medical staff, receptionists for their kind, honest, compassionate devotedly done hard work.
80 yo mother in law was sitting for 5 hours with pain and numbness of all right side of a body. Why gp sent us here thinking it’s an emergency symptoms.nNo f… was given by doctors!n5 hours old person could even lie down was siting still… experiencing even more numbness
This place is terrible!!! nnMy wife had severe headaches , fevers and was showing signs of Covid-19 I took her into Monash Medical and they had to seat me and her for 6 HOURS before a doctor came to look at her, first off this behaviour is atrocious and unacceptable. she. in pain crying for an hour straight over her headache i asked for water , the staff said sure , 2 hours. no water. waited another 30 minutes figuring it was a Friday night and pretty busy.nnI walk back up and the nurse snapped at me and said be patient. my wife isn’t more important then anyone. i guess given they’re just medical staff they wouldn’t think so but refusing water is incredibly disgusting, nnanother 4 hours passed, a doctor finally came to look at her AND DISMISSED IT AS A COLD. She had fevers for days and wasnt coughing, she was crying from pain. that was unacceptable. they should be ashamed for defying a female like that.nnI took her to Frankston Hospital instead they said they wl ae. bed her for 2 days so it clearly wasnt a cold, it was alot more she had phenomena! a bad case of it! Everyone involved should be absolutely ashamed of this disgraceful establishment. Horrible.
