Very poor delivery through Uber. Not sure this was Uber mistake or Monash mistake. But they missed the order and did not deliver one of the chicken items. When we tried calling Uber they didn't respond obviously rated then poor and Monash curry also did not take the responsibility and says they can't do anything. Moreover, the registered Uber numbercar and mobile was different to the car and number that delivered to us. I don't know how they are so irresponsible and not testing who is actually delivering. Very bad indeed!!!
Lovely curries at respectable prices. Easy online ordering process, and friendly service. Not the fastest at preparing takeaway orders, but worth the wait. Gets pretty busy some nights, which is always a good sign.Food: 4/5
Always tasty and great quality food. I asked for extra mango purée with the mango chicken this time and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken pieces are always tender and never dry. This is our go-to Indian restaurant. We have to dine in one of these days.
Longtime patron of this place. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the prices are very reasonable, despite all of the recent hospitality-related economic dramas, and the food is very tasty, ranging from gentle, mild flavours, to melt-your-face-off spicy. Will be going back as often as I can.
Nice place to have Indian food in Glen Waverley. Decently priced delicious food. The seekh kebab was brilliant! Gobi manchurian was crispy and had a nice spicy taste to it. The paneer butter masala was balanced and creamy.
We've been here lots of times, but not regularly. A lot of Indian restaurants have gone downhill in our opinion, but Monash Curry is still great. Lovely butter chicken without being too sweet, the lamb vindaloo packs a nice heat and the meat is tender and not overcooked. Meal deals are great value. Lost a star only because I had to ask for the mango lassi, which wasn't given to me, but otherwise a great hidden gem. Definitely go.
I have been to this place several times, the food quality, service and taste were spot on. Tried my favourite palak panneer in so many places but no other places could match the taste of palak panneer at monash curry n tandoor. Highly recommended.
The person working at the counter sad its not under new management, but the drop in food quality speaks for itself. The madras chicken fry was tastless and barely edible. The samosas were refried, dry, and rediculously oily. The potatoes in the eggplant and potato curry were undercooked. The koftas were so hard, and the gravy was super watery. Last time I'll getting food form here.
I ordered this Hydrabadi Chicken Biryani from UberEats. It was completely disgraceful. They just gave plain Basmati rice with some boiled chicken pieces. Any biryani should have spices regardless of the spice level. But this was not the case here. No spices at all. Never order from here. The portion was too less looking at 15$ price.
First time at this curry house. The restaurant is brightly litted and very close to Monash Aquatic Centre. We tried the goat with potatoes, prawn butter masala, Madras fish curry, lamb rogan josh and tandoori chicken. Overall, the curries are quite tasty, especially the butter masala. Willbebackometer score is 5 out of 5.
