The facilities were better and new at least, compared with the facilities that outdated and in disrepair over time in Monash University, Clayton Campus.nnThe toilet was disordered and filled with an awful smelling that I experienced in Clayton, I am not sure which the case was rare or general, but it brought me uncomfortable experience. I dislike the environment in suburban areas, although the air was fresh or the rent was more cheap when you considering for laying out the campus.nnActually, I strongly suggest that the deciders in Monash University, migrating your main campus to city centre, similar to Melbourne University, which will be more convenient and flexible to given students enjoyed.
Horrible place to study and horrible counselling service. Speaking as a former worker at Monash University and one of the high performance students graduated from Monash Uni, I do wish my feedback can help future students. One thing I can tell you straightaway is that complaining is useless because they don’t care. If you have time to read my feedback, PLEASE reconsider your decision of studying at this stupid college and do not waste your money or time. If you don’t get respected by anyone from this college, it is normal. This organise is built to MAKE MONEY FROM STUDENTS ONLY. I studied PY program and dropped after the sixth class. If you drop the course, you still have to pay in full. The course is about $15,000. I spoke to the counsellor. It sounded like I chose to study and I deserved to suffer. The counsellors there are ‘so-called’ psychologists who are unsympathetic. They’re unprofessional and do judge your stories. They have such stubborn mindsets that every single student is trying to make up excuses and not strong enough to live in the world. Don’t expect them to give you some suggestions or help you out. They will worsen the whole thing. It’s very ridiculous that these people can be psychologists. After the consultation with them, I finally understand why people suffer even though we have psychologists in the world. I feel like anyone can be a psychologist at this college. Please think about what sort of organisation will hire these people to work and then reconsider if you can go somewhere else to study.
I spent 20 weeks in this college for studying English Bridging Course.nIt was a great course with lovey teachers Terry & Mahnaz. The courses are not easy and students should be independent in order to develop their English skills. Always remember, work hard to success.
Used to be a lovely place to park my e-scooter. But unfortunately not so safe anymore. Got 2 stolen in a week
I am a student in the university's English module 4 course, and I have a few complaints. Firstly, the way the teacher conducts classes is really problematic. When I raised this issue with school administrators, they said it's to train students for independent learning. But why should I pay to be here if the teacher can't even provide constructive feedback? Moreover, the teacher alway give the wrong information and disunderstand information. As a result,we are always unclear any information. Secondly, I'm really displeased with how the school handles things. Even though I passed my English exams, I don't want to continue studying here. When I initially asked the school reception about issues, I received inconsistent responses. I feel like my problems aren't being solved, they told me to contact Monash Connect another school unit, and they told me back to Monash College with the same result. So why I need to go Monash Connect? And the man who called me had a very aggressive tone. I'm getting more and more angry. Do I owe you money? Thirdly, I'm baffled by the appeals process and meeting with supervisors. A class pass rate of 90%? Am I supposed to believe there are so few people failing in this class? It's almost laughable! And the teacher receives so many positive reviews? No one in our class wants to take her courses anyway. Do they think students won’t discuss these things? Students will understand each other’s situation.nI just share my experience for still consider about English course student. I've come to see it as a natural disaster, so I've let it go.I do not intend to disparage this school, nor did I claim that my experience represents everyone. However, based on my personal experience, it is indeed the case. Those who wish to believe can believe, and it won't affect those who don't believe.
