Absolutely amazing spring time cherry blossoms , tulips and other . Very good spot for golden hour photography. Interesting old school houses. A pretty big rose garden with fernery. I hear the roses start blooming in November….
Mona Vale house was an amazing place of history to be able to visit. It has been looked after and renovated to ensure historic features are maintained. The gardens also are showing what was around when this was originally built. Amazing to walk thru and relax with coffee. A great place to visit on a sunny day
Beautiful. Full of glorious plants and wildlife on the waterways. The cafe was open for coffee. The sun was shining... just fabulous. Saw a magnolia tree with flowers bigger than my head. It was massive. Saw many plants Ive not seen in Aust.
What a gorgeous place to visit. We were fortunate in having a perfectly sunny day on which to go and being our first ever time there, we were very impressed. Not only the lovely homestead itself, but the gardens were immaculate. I enjoyed the fernery immensely and it was peaceful and just beautiful. We will return, next time in summer to see the roses, none of which were blooming on this occasion.
Beautiful landscape with the Avon river flowing thru. Enjoyed sitting on a bench near the house shaded by a tree. A group of Ducks came and visited with us a couple times.
Beautiful place in any season. It's perfect for picnics, there's always enough parking there's more parking added last year I guess. Easy to find a peaceful spot for reading or just enjoying nature. There's beautiful magnolias blossom in August. There's also a restaurant working Friday - Sunday. I'm looking forward to have breakfast there.
Such a pretty spot! Lovely gardens, nice afternoon walk, very relaxing.
A stunning garden to enjoy a picnic or stroll and to stop and smell the roses. The on-site restaurant and cafe have the most amazing scones!
Peaceful. Dogs on leashes ok. Closed on public holidays. Good picnic spot
Excellent historic garden on banks of Avon River. Good for strolling or sitting and relaxing.
