Visited Momo’s restaurant for lunch today. Our first time, but won’t be our last. This business ticks all the right boxes; Friendly attentive waitresses, reasonable prices, excellent menu, local wines and a pleasant ambiance. Service was prompt and efficient. The food was beautifully presented and the balance of flavours was superb. We went with the Risotto and a Duck salad, both excellent and recommended dishes. To the Staff and Management, all we can add is ‘Well Done’ Team. In these difficult times we wish you well and much success in the future. Do I recommend this business….yes, absolutely. If you are ever visiting Traralgon, drop in and enjoy a great dining experience. It is a real pleasure to find a business that truly deserves its 5 Rating.
Good spot this one. Varied menu, attentive staff, the food was very good and so was the coffee. Ambience was unusally a little “dark”, seemed too much to all at our table. Nevertheless we enjoyed our meals.
Quite busy place with good menu. Unfortunately, I and my friends left disappointed when we order passionfruit cheecake and never get it we remind the waitress second time as well too,plus it was charged on the bill. Luckily, that we checked the bill and saw it - politely of the end they asked me if I want it take way, but already my mood to eat it was gone. I believe that sometimes people get distracted and forget, which is fair enough, but this brings the rate down.
Great casual food made by chefs that really know what they are doing - probably one the best squid ink seafood pasta I ever had. Attentive staff, the waiter recommended cocktails when we were undecided and upsell on desserts. Modern bistro style food that is on the beat!
Fantastic and attentive wait staff, cafe was a little dark inside. Food was alright. Eggs were a little over cooked for Eggs Benedict.Food: 3/5
Where to start....food was absolutely fantastic. Had the kangaroo steak, which can be hard to cook right, and god damn that was beautiful. All other dishes from the rest of the table where all great. Desserts were on point. The waitress gave her recommendation when i couldn't decide, and the churros were great. The cheesecake was also fantastic. All the staff were fantastic, friendly and very polite. The food was delicious. Beers were cold. Wasn't to loud, which is a problem in some places these days. Didn't have to yell to speak to the person opposite you. The only fault was too many delicious options on the menu, and i couldn't decide.....guess i better go back and give them all a try.
Since the new ownership the food and vibe has really picked up. Service is fantastic! The staff check in with you just enough and always are friendly and polite. The only reason I went with 4 stars over 5 stars was sometimes the food can vary with its quality. An example - Getting the fried chicken entre one week. The chicken crumb is crunchy and chicken meat is juicy, soft and tender then another week the same dish the chicken crumb is still crunchy but the meat is dry and hard chewing. The salt and pepper squid whilst still good could use some work as well but that doesn't stop me from ordering it. All in all it's a great place for a feed and there is plenty of tasty menu options with amazing staff crew.
Wait staff are fantastic, but the 5 baked prawns for $38 left a lot to be desired, they were tough and tasteless, the pasta and sauce with it were nice, and the bread too. Just the prawns were no good. Oh, the cob loaf with the relish was very nice
Disappointed with the food. $50 steak was just full of chewy fat. No flavor. Partners meal was horrible as well, bland he only enjoyed the bread served with his meal. Been there twice prior delicious both times had steak so I was very disappointed to have been served cheap yuck steak
Friendly staff and quick service. Food options were quite unique and fries were crisp and tasty!Recommended dishesMomo Burger
