Staying at MOM Darwin was such a highlight of my trip to the Top End! From the moment I checked in, the staff were welcoming,especially Kayleigh she was so sweet and pretty helpful, and full of great local tips. The hostel has a really fun and energetic vibe — perfect for meeting other travelers. The outdoor pool and bar area were amazing for relaxing during the day and socializing at night.nnI stayed in a dorm room, which was clean, comfortable, and well air-conditioned a lifesaver in Darwin!. The shared kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and the location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the city, close to everything.nnWhether you’re in town for a few nights or planning a longer stay, MOM Darwin is a fantastic place to base yourself. I’d definitely stay here again
I had such a great experience staying at Mom Darwin Hostel! The hostel is kept very clean, the common areas are well-maintained, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals. The outdoor area is a huge bonus, especially with the pool and plenty of space to chill and meet other travellers.nnOne of the biggest highlights of my stay was the staff, especially Kayleigh at reception. She was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made the effort to ensure everyone felt at home. Whether it was helping with check-in, giving local tips, or just having a chat, Kayleigh really added a personal touch that made the experience even better.nnOverall, Mom Hostel is a great choice if you’re looking for somewhere fun, clean, and well-run in Darwin. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Great place, perfect location and very friendly staff.nnWhether you want to create a temporary base here in Darwin and socialise or you’re travelling through, it’s hands down the best place in town to do so.nnYou got everything you need from a hostel, it’s close to a beautiful park and the supermarket is so nearby you can hit it with a stone as we’d say in the Netherlands.
Friendly & helpful staff tbh!nnHowever, this hostel is in desperateeee need of work. Very unclean, rundown & poorly air conditionednnAbsolutely NOT worth $50 a nyt. Disappointing as I’ve always had great experiences w/ YHA priornnRecommend spending incrementally more for a hotel stay in Darwin
One of the best hostels I stayed in in Australia. Good location, music and a cheap bar with a pool. Rooms and baths are clean plus big lockers are a plus
