Absolutely loved this and couldn't recommend more! Such a great variety of animals and every one we visited was out and visible, including the lions and lion cub! You can feed a lot of different animals too and it was only $20 to feed the giraffe which is a must do! Plenty of space and not too busy, we even went on a Saturday too. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable, it's pram and wheelchair friendly too mostly. I can't recommend this place enough! One of the best wildlife parks I've been to.
We liked it here. It’s an orderly, well kept and interesting small zoo. The animals are well displayed. They all look very healthy. We enjoyed a good hour and a half wandering around here. A special plug too for the landscaping and gardening. Some of it is lovely. Our only criticism would be of the cafe - there are no healthy food options and it’s all cakes, chips, pies, white bread and lollies. But, the wildlife park itself is wonderful, so just bring your own healthy food if that’s your thing.
I love this little zoo! The animals all look nice and healthy and the feeding is so affordable. For only $3 you can get a bag/cone of feed that you can give to the deer, camels, zebra though they didn’t come over and/or ostriches! For an extra $20 you can feed the giraffe some wattle leaves which was really fun. Included in the entry price was a little map/passport for each of the kids where they could collect stamps as we found each enclosure. 10/10 would recommend.
In my life I’ve visited quite a lot of zoo’s and wildlife parks but can I just say Mogo has been the best in my honest opinion. We visited on a weekday and my 3 year old was able to hand feed giraffes for $20 and for a $3 cup of food she was able to feed kangaroos, deer, camels and the ostriches. Feeding the animals was definitely the highlight of the day for her. The park is full of exotic animals that you wouldn’t see at a regular zoo. We came on a hot day and were still able to see all the animals in their enclosures. Cafe food was nice, a bit pricey but as all zoo’s are. Mogo definitely tops any of the Sydney Zoo’s and we will be back in the future. Amazing layout, lots of rest stops and picnic areas and lots of shade!
Amazing zoo! For its size, Mogo has so much to offer and well worth a trip out. Great diversity of animals, ability to feed some with the kids. The Meerkats have some new babies, so adorable checking them out. We had a great time Looking forward to next time Restrooms: Well maintained restrooms throughout Picnic area: Great picnic area for lunch between seeing all the animals
Fantastic zoo. Seems small but hosts a great range of animals and information. The animal talks were also great to listen to. The only complaint was I couldn't find any toilet facilities except at just inside the entrance. There were signs but the path I was following wouldn't end up at any noticeable facility. However that minor niggle aside, would definitely return when back this way. The kids loved it.
Its been a few years since I have visited as I am way up in Queensland now so the photos I have added are a bit old. I love this place, it may be slightly smaller than some of the big city zoos, but that just means its managable to walk around. It certainly does not mean its less interesting. You can get the best photos here as you can see, and the animals do look happy and well looked after.
We had the best time at Mogo Wildlife Park. We went down for the Tiger Experience and it was well worth the money paid. So many different animals and closeup experiences for all ages. Would definitely recommend. The staff are also amazing even if I didn’t get to meet Zookeeper Chad
A beautiful wildlife park with very friendly staff. Shame there isn't a kids area with a park / equipment or something like that to entertain the little ones. Parking was easy as & it was nice and easy to feed the kangaroos, deer and camels Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Fascinating zoo, with a great range of interesting, photogenic and captivating animals. Small enough that it only takes about 2.5 - 3.0 hours to see everything, but large enough to have a satisfying range of exhibits. We particularly loved the meerkats and the marmosets.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
