MJ Civil Engineering was formed in 1995 by Mark Johns, after recognising the need for an engineering consulting firm with a focus on the clients.

MJ Civil Engineering was formed in 1995 by Mark Johns, after recognising that there was potential in the market place for an engineering consulting firm that could offer both the professionalism of the larger consulting firms, whilst maintaining a greater level of personal commitment in dealing with clients and their representatives.

Through a balanced approach, in not complicating the simple and being able to solve the more complex, MJ Civil Engineering, has from its Sydney office, developed a valued client base in each of the disciplines identified in the business activities. In order to achieve economic solutions in a competitive market, MJ Civil utilises the latest proven and fully verified software analysis packages.

The philosophy and manner in which future development is anticipated, is not perceived to differ to the previous pattern of business growth. Issues considered pertinent for future development of MJ Civil Engineering have been formalised, and are contained within our business objectives document.

The current extent of works undertaken include the following principal elements:

Civil & Structural Design - Residential, Commercial & Industrial.
Infrastructure - Public and Private Funded Projects for both Domestic & Intenational Clients
Construction Advice, including the production of workshop details
Diagnostic & Forensic Engineering which involves the detection and location of building faults and defects
Site Supervision for both new build and building repair.
