First time trying maybe we went on a bad day the fried dim sim was soggy and like they had been microwaved and the fish was so soggy it was mush in batter and was inedible could not even eat it and very pricey. I’ve never ever reviewed before and I’m in my 50’s. but this was atrocious. Worst fish in my lifetime. That’s if it was even fish the dog even refused to eat it. Cannot believe this shops stayed open
Chips were so bad, definitely not freshly cooked. dim sims & other fried food ordered tasted like they’ve been sitting all day. So overpriced for yuckkk food. Never again
Situated out at Lavington it is a fish n chip come mini supermarket come liquor store. It is pretty average really. The food is not to my personal liking but members of my family really like the crunchy batter that is used on the potato cakes and fish products. The customer service was OK and they were doing a good job of social distancing during COVID 19. Wouldn’t go out of my wAy yo ho here but if in the area and looking for some take out it would be an option.
So Mity Mart has probably some of the best take away in Albury and this is why I am giving the 3 stars. However, the continual need to leave a large number of battered cooked items in the Bain-marie leaves a lot to be desired. If you can get it when it's fresh? Then it's amazing but if, like it was today, sitting in there for sometime Too long the food becomes stale and tastes bad. This is almost every second purchase Twice a week. Moral of the story - ask all food to be cooked fresh.
Last time I went to that shop the chips with disgusting at a cost too much and I would never come back there. they always overcooked the food and disgusting. If you looking for good food go to Jans still always cook it fresh and they never make you wait if you want something to eat. jans cafe Just down the road pretty much
The employees are all very nice and always give me an extra potato cake amazing customer service! Great for a quick stop for some take-a-way food!
Way over priced. Minimum chips, 4 potato cakes and 6 dim Sims $22.00 and the food was dry and flavourless
Was the best but now shocking 4 fish BITES 2 dim sims and 500ml coke $19.80 i only had a bite out of 1 fish bite and thru the others in the bin definitely not worth the money will never go back again
Worst take away in Albury/Wodonga. One bite of a souvlaki and it went straight in the bin. 2 souvlakis, chips and gravy and almost $50. Wont be going back.
best fish bites in Albury. a little overpriced however they have always given me decent sized food and if something is small e.g. a potato cake they always chuck in an extra one which is really appreciated.
