Scott provided excellent professional service and was very approachable in answering our questions and providing advice along the way. He demonstrated good knowledge of the Hervey Bay property market and clearly explained his assessment of the current market and the likely price range for our home. We particularly liked the effort he puts in to provide a video presentation for each property and his advertising approach. Scott was available throughout the sale process and called us back same day, if ever he missed our calls. Mitchell’s also have a friendly and helpful office team. Scott was frank and honest during the negotiation process and took time to explain his approach and possible outcomes. Outstanding͏ Wide Bay agency. Agent’s objective is to obtain the best possible sale price, which takes more tabs effort on their part but they are prepared to do this which is what differentiates them from normal agents. My experience with normal agents is that they just aim for a quick and easy sale so they can move onto the next one or just take it easy. The Scott Mitchell agency also aims to act as a good corporate citizen in that they will not accept all houses for listings - they do not want a reputation for selling sub-standard properties. This acts as a comfort factor for purchasers too. They aim for a “win-win”.
Professional͏ and easy communication. I found Scott to be an easy to get along with professionalism from the start. I have been an agent 2007 in the past and got to know a large number of agents in the Hervey Bay area, and new how a lot of them operated. Having purchased a rural block away from Hervey Bay, I contacted Scott for an appraisal on my property. I was assured he could handle the sale with the easy going professionalism he showed with the involvement in setting up and procedures applied in marketing my home. We had a few glitches through out the marketing due to circumstances that had nothing to do with Scott"s marketing and he took this in his stride and always turned the negatives into positives. I would highly recommend him to sell your property and get results no matter what property portfolio you have to sell.
The team at Mitchell's Real Estate were absolutely fabulous to deal with. We purchased our new home through them and it was a breeze from start to finish. We met Mel at the house and she made us feel so comfortable and allowed us time to inspect it, we fell in love with the house and bought it straight away.
