I wish I knew of a better quality sole repair place. The low rating for Mister Mint Mount Ommaney isn’t for the visibility of the glue from the repair of my soles, but the fact there’s a nice sized gap now. These are / were waterproof ugg boots but now...
Today 18/6/2022, I visited the Mt Ommaney store. The usual gentleman working there wasn’t working today. There were 2 men with beards one older than the other. I arrived at the store around 9ish and both men were free one was sipping his cup of coffee, they both spotted me I believe. I said hello but they both ignored me, the older gentle was standing 2 o’clock facing me but still didn’t bother greeting me like he was waiting for the younger one to serve me…then I said “hello” again at this time the other man looked at me and asked me what do I need. I showed him a signet ring, and responded to him that I’d like to have the ring engraved for my daughter’s 10yo birthday milestone. He replied grumpily that it’s going to be small, I said that’s ok…then he grabbed a small and threw it on the bench instead of handing it to me And said “just write down whatever you need”. I didn’t appreciate that kind of rude customer services, and the way I was served there today as a returned customer so I said to him no, don’t worry about it and left disappointedly. I won’t ever stop there again unless the other mister Minit worker working there.
Deano is the man. Got me out of a tight spot with 5 minutes left to close. You never see service like this anymore. Absolute legend ! Thank you again
I don't know if it's the same people that work here regularly, but from reading these reviews it must not be! Both the gentlemen used loosely were very rude! The first one was very courteous and helpful to the man in front of us getting a car key made. My daughter and I waited our turn and asked for 2 house keys made. If I hadn't seen him with the gentleman before us, I would've just thought he's not personable. He walked away and passed the key to an older guy. He made the first guy seem perky. The older one was condescending and idiotic. His pay wave was not accepting my card I use it all the time before and after and treated me like I didn't know how to use it. I don't know if their problem is with females or our non- Aussie accent. This experience did have a positive in that my impressionable daughter got a lesson in potentially misogynistic behaviour. My husband and I used it to have a more in depth family discussion on the treatment of others especially gender and cultural. They also don't have key cutting prices available. You have to ask and not sure they don't just pick a number that they think you'll pay. Their place in Sunnybank plaza was not much better a couple of years ago either.
Refused refund 20 minutes after my purchase when I told owner I am not sure if it was right controller. When I found out IW was he told me he would not give me a refund for, “Changing my mind”. Clearly, this was not the case. Additionally, he could have mentioned this at time of purchase. When I did return $120 controller they ‘gave’ me a store credit but would not give me paperwork to confirm my credit. Furthermore, staff member suggested that I was being difficult for make him give me a written surety of my credit. I have not yet tried to use my ‘credit’.
I attended the store on tMonday 24/10/22 & Tony was on the shift l stated “thank God” you are on as that younger fella Geoff is so rude & disinterested in his job, he blatantly ignored me whilst l was standing at the counter even though he knew l was waiting. Anyhow, on a positive spin l would like to add that Tony an older gentleman with a beardis always polite, respectful & willing to assist at all times
ARROGANT. The tall guy with the beard is so arrogant. Will now be taking our business elsewhere. I cannot understand how a company employs people like this guy. If one of my staff behaved like him I would sack them on the spot.
Appalling customer service experienced on the 13/08 at 11am. Older gentlemen was disgustingly rude when we went for assistance with a key cutting, and previously we have had bad experiences with him. Mister Minit Mt Ommaney has been tarnished by his lack of care for customers, we will not be returning. I will not tolerate being yelled at by another person.
Came in today looking for an item, that this location didn't have in stock, but the gentleman that was there took his tome to ring other local stores that were on my route home to see if they had any. Very grateful for him to take the time to do that, he was also very kind. Will return in the future
