Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I discovered this place via Urban List’s ‘Sydney best food trucks’ and it holds up to that reputation. The menu is small, and I like that, I prefer a place that has a simple menu that is done really well. I ordered the Cheese Boogie - the patty was juicy, the bun soft but held together the burger well and the sauce was spectacular - I’d buy a jar of it if they sold it, so good. The shoestring fries are also a winner. A small serving is more than enough for three people as the burgers are pretty huge. I also tried the cinnamon donut, it was okay but it’s the burgers and fries that are the clear winners. There is some seating available next to the truck and if you fancy you can get your car washed as Mister Gee is located on parramatta road on a car wash lot. There is off street parking as well but it can get quite busy. Will be back again to try the rest of the menu and the ‘baklava shake’.
Great food! Limited choices but they were all good. There's also an option to dine in. You have to try their specialty iced tea!!
I live local and usually come here a little later in the evening as the queue can be long in peak dinner times. The burgers, fries and donuts are always good but you do have to wait a while which is cool as it's quality. Last night I came about 9pm and the boss/owner took my order, I say this as he was collecting the cash from the till and telling other people what to do before disappearing. I then proceeded to wait as usual being patient but 40min passed and saw about a dozen people who ordered after me get there orders before I proceeded up and asked about the order for Steve to which they had no idea existed. They were apologetic but I still had to wait another 10-15min to get my order all in all just under an hour to get my order. With the amount of orders taken and revenue generated I think you could invest in a POS system other than pen and paper that removes issues like this.
Burgers are made well and cooked just right on the rare to medium rare range. Nice soft and shiny brioche-like buns and well seasoned. Despite the Amex logo being displayed, does NOT actually take Amex. Friendly staff and good vibes.
American style burgers with a local twist. Nice to have an original food truck in the inner west. Love the truffle fries and the rotating burger menu. Worth the trip
This is the archetypal USA style burger, dripping with flavour and lashings of sauce with periodically themed menus. You'll never have been happer to soberly eat fastfood sitting next to Parramatta road
Best Burger OG truffle in Sydney hands down and if they have the baklava shake get it bruh, get 2 of everything you order trust me and thank me later.
Good quality burgers. Personally think they are too sweet for my taste. Burgers should be savoury. Gee always mean mugging outside the truck.
