We love Miss Pickle; the service was excellent! We enjoyed our dinner here and what we ordered are more than enough for two people. It's worth us to come back and try other dishes. However, if Miss Pickle can offer more selections on dips, it would be 120/100! Overall it was a very good dinner.
Miss Pickle is always a good treat. The Melbourne style souvlaki w/chicken, the Shepard's Bowl w/lamb and the calamari for starters. Both mains were exceptional. The meat was amazing, with very generous servings. The calamari was also cooked perfectly, wonderfully tender with a lovely tartar sauce. The staff were very polite and welcoming. Added bonus being able to see the meat cooking on the rotisserie in the front window.
Dropping in for a quick souvlaki wrap lunch, we ordered the mixed grill and chicken souvlaki wraps. Both were served with fries The wraps were tasty, well prepared and sufficient. The accompanying chips were crispy and seasoned well. Most enjoyable. The service was friendly enough. A popular place, as it should be.
Food was well presented, calamari salad was great, and the portion was generous. Though, I would prefer fresh beetroot. The staff were very nice.
Miss Pickle 1971 is a Mediterranean restaurant chain located in The Glen Shopping Centre as well as Knox City, Casey Central and Point Cook. Cute decor, but unfortunately the food was average and the service was poor. Definitely not the best Mediterranean food experience in Melbourne. Dishes presented: Dolmathes Mixed Gyros Lamb Gyros Dolmathes - rolled vines leaves stuffed with rice. Well seasoned, the addition of yoghurt to the plate complimented the dolmathes but they were a little bit dry. The open souvlaki had a small amount of meat compared to how much carbs and salad there were. The meat tasted good but not enough of it, the salad lacked seasoning and the roasted potato wedges were ok but they didn’t really belong to the souvlaki plate. Unfortunately, it was a miss for us. Finn bites dining experience 3.3/5 $$
Nice place to enjoy Mediterranean food! It is located in the Glen, has an easy access if you are not parking in the Glen or else you might have to complete a nice walk to reach here. The food is hot and fresh. It is amazingly tasty and the quantity is pretty large so it makes a good meal. We’ve visited this restaurant a number of times now and I will have to say that the quality has remained consistent. The calamari rings are my favourite but we do enjoy the open souvlaki as well.
Amazing food! The halloumi fries were incredible! Such a good place to hang out and grab food. Halloumi Fries, Calamari Sea-vlaki, Chicken & Lamb Gyros Open Souvlaki Visited again on 13/05 and found that quality has changed immensely! Halloumi Fries, Fried Calamari, Mixed Gyros Open Souvlaki
Came here for dinner few weeks ago. The manager recognised us even though it was our 2nd visit. Customer service was excellent, staff was attentive and friendly. And the food was tasty, simple and yet delicious. You’ll definitely leave with a full tummy.
Restaurant feels spacious and clean. Staffs were attentive and food came quick on a Tuesday night. Ordered mix meat and chicken gyros. Meat was too dry and too salty - worst souvlaki I've had in a long time. Lots of salad which nobody finished.
Setting the bar for the freshest quality Mediterranean food, amazing service, and a great family atmosphere. Highly recommended
