Miss Marie is my local go to when I want a good vegan breakfast, but I eat it for lunch too. Their tofu scramble which is not really scrambled, but I’m not complaining is filled with green veg & chilli. I love this dish because it’s full of flavour, it’s probably my favourite tofu scramble I’ve had from any cafe, as it isn’t bland and having the greens makes it a whole lots tastier.nI also ordered their super smoothie without honey. I don’t eat meat, but my families meals looks very substantial. Would highly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting the area
We ordered the super breaking board, it was huge, and we loved every single item on the board. Also, the chai latte and latte were delicious too.
We had Miss Benedict and ordered extra mushrooms. I had to go to the counter to place my order since no one came to our table to take our order in a timely manner. Regarding the food, while incorporating microgreens can enhance the appearance of a dish, it can't make up for its bland flavor. Also, the hollandaise sauce was too buttery for our liking. The coffee, however, was decent.nI don't think I'll be returning to this place.nnUpdate:nTried this place one more time after a year and had latte and rhubarb porridge. This time, I had a different experience with food: very tasty and enjoyable with good prices as well. Very disorganised staff though.
I’m very keen to try new places, and have never really frequented a place more than a few times. Miss Marie, however, has become my go-to place for coffee and brunch, and is the quintessential local hang-out. The coffee is always exceptional, and the food is both delicious and competitively priced, especially given the serving size.
Consistent, consistent, consistent. Great Coffee, friendly staff, quick turnover by the kitchen delivering a broad variety of good sized dishes.nA regular for many local residents, so family friendly but the coffee tops everything else!
