Story

Established on 10th of January 1997, Masjid Al-Taqwa is located at 135 Boyare Ave Mirrabooka, 6061. The masjid is used by Perth’s diverse muslim community, it’s creed is based on the Qur’an and the Authentic sunnah of the prophet Muhammed Peace and blessings be upon him, it is also by far the most active masjid in the state of Western Australia, people from the north and south of the Swan River travel to pray in the congregation of Mirrabooka simply to enjoy the brotherhood that is available within the Masjid.

Great Place for community gathering for the Muslims and they holds 2 Friday Congregation.

Not that friendly for women as the ablution area is at the back end of the mosque with a toilet in it, which subsequently built up the Q. Women senior citizens might have problem to climb up the stairs to the ladies prayer room but can perform the prayer at the ground floor, outside (in the plain view of the public). A very convenient location for those who are nearby.
